Manipur University of Culture was set up in 2015 as a Model University in the field of Art and Culture in the history of Indian academia. The university offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the field of Arts. MUC offers BA and MA courses in various disciplines in full time mode. Admissions to UG and PG courses of Manipur University of Culture is based on the candidate's performance in a written test conducted by the institute itself followed by viva-voce or interview. The BA course in Fine Arts is a 4 year long course while other BA courses are of 3 years duration.
