Life of a AIIMS Student.

Likes

The faculties are excellent and highly qualified. Provide equal attention to every student
College infrastructure and library ,e library facilities are good
Hostel facilty and rooms are much better than other colleges

Dislikes

There is no separate college of nursing in the institution.
No boy students in the course as they aren't allowed😂
Not a place to explore much things along with studies

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is a medical course so yaa i wanted to learn about human so opted for it .It's alike MBBS but a bit easy than that .we have subject specialities like Medical surgical ,Obs gynae,Pediatrics ,Community etc like mbbs only but we need to learn them in duration of 3.5 yrs then we have internship of 6 months. Curriculum is maintained but need to be more realistic as some things are outdated. The subjects we learn are patient centred only as we have to be there for them ,provide care to them and treat them .everthing we read in classes we apply and co relate in our clinical.postings for better learning and experience

One of the best experience in my college is its lush green campus with full of plantations everywhere which makes this place literally so calming to live along with the other facilities we have .whole part of the CPUs is coveted with various flowers
Ragging in this college is prohibited strictly so they there is no scope for any such harrasment or bulleying activities in this campus .
Another remarkable aspect of this college is its academic excellence, with the best academic curriculum among major AIIMS this college provides best learning opportunities to us whether be it in theory or postings or reaserch activities

Dislikes

Infrastructure needs to be developed a bit more , some buildings are yet to be built including special care unit , aayush centre , nursing college etc
Raebareli is not a major city so life outside the college in City is very less whenever you wish to enjoy you need to go to Lucknow which is nearby around 2 hours distance .
Academics is very strict be it in attendence or examination or disciplinary activities

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum includes the regular 8 to 5 classes and postings along with practical classes. The teaching curriculum is really very hectic and sophisticated. The patient load is also very huge so we get an ample amount of patient interaction which aids in our learning opportunities and experience.
