Maya Devi University (MDU) offers a well-defined scholarship scheme that financially supports deserving students. Scholarships can be available in all university programmes, ranging from Diplomas to PG (MBA). The different types of scholarships offered by MDU include the following:

MDU MDUCET Scholarship

MDU conducts MDUCET to ascertain the credibility of the students receiving scholarships. Students can earn up to 100% Scholarship on their tuition fee based on the score obtained in MDUCET. Students can appear for MDUCET even if they are already availing any of the other scholarships offered by the University. Students can avail the following discount on their tuition fee based on MDUCET score:

MDU scholarship based on merit

MDU offers scholarships to students based on their performance in the qualifying exam. These may include the percentage achieved in class 10th for admission to a Diploma program and the percentage achieved in 10+2 or equivalent exam for admission to an Undergraduate program. For students seeking admission to Post-graduate programs (MBA), their aggregate marks in bachelor’s and Master’s degrees will be considered for the scholarship. Students can avail the following discount on their tuition fee based on merit/percentage in the qualifying examination:

MDU Social Responsibility Scholarship

MDU offers Social Responsibility Scholarship to defence personnel, and physically handicapped children. The following scholarships offered by MDU are:

MDU offers Sports scholarships to students based on their performance in National and international competitions. Students can check the details below for the sports scholarships:

MDU Uttarakhand Private Universities Act Scholarship

MDU offers “Merit cum Means Scholarships for Domicile Students of Uttarakhand” according to Uttarakhand Private Universities Act.

MDU Scholarships Terms and Conditions

The scholarship is Unconditional for the 1st year (1st & 2nd Semester), but for all the upcoming years, the scholarship will only be continued if students clear the semester / annual examination without any backlog in the 1st attempt.
The student is required to attain a minimum of 80% attendance in each course to continue the scholarship in every semester.
If Student found involved in any grave act of indiscipline and found on faulty and an action is taken by the competent, then the scholarship will also be discontinued from the same semester.

I have paid 55000 per Year as tution fee. And it is trust worthy and for hotel management it is around 50000. College provides good internships which helps for the growth and experience for the students

I was out of town at the time of the scholarship Examination, so I could not avail it. Yes, the college has a talent hunt program, in which an online examination is conducted and based on the performances the students were selected and give first, second and third categories of scholarships. It's very encouraging and boosting the students for building a competitive attitude among them and at the same time helping the brilliant and needy ones.
