Great College

Likes

Campus was good with great infrastructure
Faculties were with great knowledge and experience
It helped me to achieve my desired goal.

Dislikes

Sudden plans nd changes in exam schedules
Timings were inappropriate of internal exams
Exam centre was given far from the city many students faced difficulties

Internships Opportunities:

Government companies offered roles we ith stipend Many projects nd internships were organised my the companies to shortlist candidates for the perfect job role. All around 60 to 70% candidates are places after msc. In this college

Likes

Infrastructure is modern and has elevator as well.
Good hygiene as it is newly built and sanitized
Faculty is kind and humble. Regular classes being held

Dislikes

Many students do not opt for regular classes
Outside campus is filled with bushes and overgrown grass
Office staff are sometimes less polite and moderately humble.

Internships Opportunities:

Internship will be given in the last semesters and is mandatory for all students in order to complete their course . The professer has not given much information about this so far but such that the internships will be conducted in some government company like bccl etc.

How good was college life

Likes

They will offer me so many internship opportunities and skillful placements
No need to go daily and attend the class. If you live very far from here then that's ok
You can easily access all the activities of this university from your smartphone, there's teacher created a group for students to help all the things who need it

Dislikes

I'm a very good player in chess, but no tournament was organised of chess
Some teachers are so rude for help. They always say come to college
Internal exams are suddenly came and give us tension for that

Internships Opportunities:

First opportunity I got in Jio sim seller as a intern but I didn't like that job. After that they provide for learn in welding, fitting, electrician and chef in jamshedpur for free and after that they can give us 100% job. After complete college they give us banking internship for future.

Internships Opportunities:

One year compulsory internship for final year students. Internship in hospital near college. Stipend is also good for students. Hostels are also available for interns in this university. Job after internship are also available.

Real and to the point review of P.K. Roy Memorial college.

Likes

Our Teachers were great especially Avinash Sir who thought us a lot about different avenues.
Got an 45 day internship at BCCL which was game changing in my carrer
also got an oportunity to go on industrial trainings

Dislikes

Our college was during covid period so we missed physical interaction with teachers
College building need to get repaired and properly sanitized.
and some staff need to get proper training.

Internships Opportunities:

I was lucky enough to get an internship at prestigious Bharat Coking Coal Limited as a finance trainee for a period of 45 days all thanks goes to mamta ma'am and avinash sir for there help also i am very greatfull of P..K. ROY MEMORIAL COLLEGE and BCCL FOR GIVING ME THIS OPORTUNITY

The college is really affordable in terms of accomodation and allows certain degree of customisation
Hospital has good patient flow and enough beds to let you get first hand experience with the patient early on
Library is well maintained with latest books and provides a nice environment for studies

Dislikes

The number of faculties is insufficient in certain departments currently
The maintenance of infrastructure is not a priority for the college

Internships Opportunities:

Every mbbs course has a year of compulsory internship at the college attached hospital it self in all the departments it is only after this when you can practice as a registered medical practitioner outside

College fees is so much affordable acoording to other colleges
They are providing scholarship to the backward class stydents

Dislikes

The college don't provide a regular classes for students.
Teachers are not much seem educated college should provide best teachers

College provide some intenship which is not provided in college but outside the college campus some company may provide some kind of small jobs to the students Student can give participation on job interview.

Nice Infrastructure with very Less Fees

Likes

Nice infrastructure with such low fees, had a great campus life on the last 2 year
There is very less placement service and if it occurs then package will not go more than 3.5 lakhs

Dislikes

Faculties are little bit less motivated and lacks passion for studying, classes are also not taken as per time table
Had great infrastructure but lacks cleanliness

Placement Experience:

Students from sem 3 become eligible for campus placements but only few ( 2-3 in a year ) companies comes for conducting placement drives, Companies like Bajaj Allianz , Tata Consultancy Services.. etc. comes here for giving placement but there package is not more than 3.5 lakhs / year. Average package offered is 2.5 - 3 lakhs per annum. Almost 5 percent students got placed After getting this masters degree I will do phd in the same subject

Firstly as it is a medical college.....senior junior relations are very good here which is very necessary
Teachers here are very enthusiastic and if you want to study they are ready for it anytime you want

Dislikes

As the college is very old so the equipments you see in physiology labs are old
Lack of departmental separation in hospital

Internships Opportunities:

College provides internship opportunity in the hospital itself here you get to work in various departments and gets the opportunity to learn every subject at the same time you can also earn up to 16000 a month no college provides this much exposure in the internship period
