Atmiya University BTech Eligibility & Selection Criteria

A student can get admission if they have passed 10+2 (Higher Secondary) in Science with Mathematics from Gujarat or any other board that is accepted as equal, and have a good academic record. The rules of Atmiya University and the State Government also apply. All admissions are provisional until approved by the university.

For candidates from Gujarat:

Admission is given as per the rules of the Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC), Government of Gujarat.

For candidates from other states:

Must have passed 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, and one more subject from Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, or Technical Vocational. Must have at least 45% marks in these subjects together (40% for reserved category).

Lateral Entry:

Students having a 3-year diploma in a relevant Engineering or Science stream can join in the 2nd year. They must complete a bridge course and certain subjects from part III after getting approval from the Equivalence Board of Atmiya University.

Atmiya University PhD Eligibility Criteria

• Master’s Degree or an equivalent to Master’s Degree to apply for the Ph.D programme with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks.
• Students belonging to the reserved category will have a relaxation of 5% when applying for the programme.
• Candidates with M.Phil Degree and 55% marks (50% marks for reservation category) or its equivalent grade ‘B’ in the UGC 7-point scale.

Atmiya University PhD Selection Criteria

• The selection of the students depends on the Academic Supervisors and physical facilities that are available in the University.
• The students will be selected through an Entrance Test, AUMPET. It consists of written, viva-voce and presentation of the proposed research interest.
