Ans. The BA Sociology is a 3-year general degree programme, while the BA (Hons.) Sociology is a 4-year specialised Honours programme under NEP 2020. The Honours programme offers a deeper, more focused study of sociological theory and research, with a research component in the 4th year. Graduates of the Honours programme are better positioned for MA Sociology, MSW, PhD, and careers in research and public policy.
