Gujarat Maritime University LLM Admission 2024
The Gujarat Maritime University offers two options in LLM namely LLM (Maritime Law) and LLM (International Trade Law). Candidates who wish to pursue LLM must hold an LLB/Equivalent Degree in law from a recognized University with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA in case of General Category or 45% marks or equivalent CGPA in case of SC/ST Category candidates.
Admission to LLM (General) course will be granted based on Merit in the Combined Law Aptitude Test (CLAT) whereas admission to LLM (Professional) program will be granted based on based on candidate’s performance in the Bachelor’s degree program, motivation letter and Personal Interview.

In order to apply for LLM program in the Gujarat Maritime University, candidates are required to follow the below mentioned steps in order:

- Click on ‘Schools and Centers’ and then on ‘Admissions’
- On clicking, a new page will appear on the screen.
- Click on ‘Apply Now’ button.
- On clicking, the application form will appear on the screen. Candidates have to enter all the necessary details in the form such as personal details, course details, academic qualification details, communication details etc while filling the application form.
- On entering all the details successfully in the application form, candidates have to upload scanned images of their passport sized photograph and motivation letter.

Gujarat Maritime University MBA Admission 2024
The Gujarat Maritime University offers an MBA program. A total of 60 seat intake is available for MBA (Shipping & Logistics) program. Candidates who wish to pursue an MBA program are required to hold a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with an aggregate of at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ ST Category candidates) from a recognized university. Admission to the MBA course will be granted based on valid marks obtained in CAT/ XAT/ MAT/ CMAT/ GMAT followed by Group Discussion and Personal Interview.

How to Apply?
GMU offers admissions for MBA under State Quota Seats, administered by the Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC) and All-India Seats for which the admission processes are described below:
State Quota Seats (50%): For admission under the State quota seats, a candidate has to apply at Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC) website (http://www.jacpcldce.ac.in/) and follow the instructions therein. The Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC) shall prepare a merit list, out of the students who have applied for the course. Candidates are to follow the document and fee submission deadlines as specified by the ACPC.
All India Seats (50%): A candidate seeking admission under the All India seats quota shall apply on-line at the University website www.gmu.edu.in under the admissions section and fill the requisite application forms. The application forms and the fee payment links will be available on its official website.

Application fees will be charged from the students as below which needs to be paid while filling out the online application forms:

Note: Applicants are required to note the application ID generated on the successful submission of the application form. The application ID is to be used for all communication with the university officials during the admissions stage. Reservation of Seats
Students are required to submit relevant valid proof documents to support the reservation of seats are required to be submitted during the time of admission. 3% of the seats will be reserved for students belonging to the Differently abled Category. Gujarat Maritime University Executive Diploma Program Admission 2024
The Gujarat Maritime University offers one year EDP in International Trade Law and Maritime Law. Candidates who wish to pursue EDP must hold a Graduate Degree in any discipline from a recognized University.

Academic Qualification for Ph.D. Program
- Candidates for admission to the Ph.D. program shall have a Master's degree or a professional degree declared equivalent to the master's degree by the corresponding statutory regulatory body, with at least 55% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade b in the UGC seven point scale or an equivalent degree from a foreign educational institution accredited by an assessment and accreditation agency which is approved or authorised by an authority, established or incorporated under the law in its home country or any other stated tree authority in that country for the purpose of assessing, accrediting for assuring quality and standards of educational institutions.
- Relaxation of 5% of marks, from 55 % to 50%, aur equivalent relaxation of grade may be allowed for those belonging to SC/ST/OBC/differently abled and other categories of candidates as per the decision of the commission from time to time or for those who had obtained their master's degree prior to 19 September, 1991. The eligibility marks of 55% and the relaxation of 5% to the categories mentioned above are permissible based only on the qualifying marks without including the Grace Mark procedures.
- Candidates possessing a degree considered equivalent to M.Phil degree of an Indian institution or from a foreign education institution accredited by an assessment and accreditation agency which is approved or authorised by the authority established or incorporated under a law in its home country or any other stated tree authority in that country for the purpose of assessing or assuring quality and standards of educational institutions shall be eligible for admission to Ph.D program.
- The applicants who have cleared the entrance test with 50% score as qualifying marks are required to do a presentation on the preliminary research proposal with the statement of the research problem and the literature survey which demonstrates that the research topic is an exploded and an original scholarly contribution can be made on the same.
Eligibility for Ph.D. Program
It is desirable that the applicants who possess minimum prescribed qualifications for admission to Ph.D. program should have excellent academic or professional track record in the relevant discipline. The applicant for part time PhD should:
- Prove to the satisfaction of Doctoral Research Committee DRC that his official duties permit him to devote sufficient time to research.
- Ensure that facilities for pursue research are available at his place of work in the chosen field of research where required.
Selection Criteria for Ph.D. Program
Selection process will be conducted and the process shall consist of:
- Online entrance test
- Online presentation on the proposed research before the Doctoral Research Committee DRC

The candidates who are interested in seeking admission to the phd program can apply directly by filling the online admission form. Before filling the form kindly make the payment first as the transaction ID is required to be shared while filling the application form.
