Ques. Is GPAT mandatory for M.Pharm Pharmaceutical Chemistry at CSMU?
Ans. GPAT is not mandatory for M.Pharm Pharmaceutical Chemistry at CSMU. The university accepts both GPAT scores and CSMUCET (CSMU Common Entrance Test) scores. Candidates with a valid GPAT score are directly exempted from CSMUCET and receive an offer of admission after eligibility verification. Those without a GPAT score can appear for CSMUCET. However, having a GPAT score is beneficial as it is a nationally recognised qualification and may open doors to GPAT scholarships from AICTE.
Ques. What is the minimum percentage required in B.Pharma to apply for M.Pharm at CSMU?
Ans. Candidates must have a minimum of 55% aggregate marks across all 4 years of B.Pharma from a PCI-approved institution to be eligible for M.Pharm at CSMU. This is the standard eligibility criterion as specified by the CSMU School of Pharmacy. Candidates appearing in the final year of B.Pharma can apply provisionally, subject to meeting the eligibility criteria upon declaration of results.
Ques. What is the total fee for M.Pharm Pharmaceutical Chemistry at CSMU?
Ans. The total programme fee for M.Pharm at CSMU for 2026-27 is Rs. 3,65,000 over 2 years. This includes the one-time non-refundable registration fee of Rs. 15,000, tuition fees of Rs. 2,30,000, and other fees of Rs. 1,05,000. Additionally, an examination fee of Rs. 1,000 per exam is charged separately. Hostel accommodation is optional and costs between Rs. 92,000 to Rs. 1,40,000 per annum (mess fee not included).

Ques. Does CSMU offer GPAT scholarship to M.Pharm students?
Ans. GPAT scholarship is awarded by AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education) to GPAT-qualified candidates admitted to M.Pharm programmes at AICTE-approved institutions. The scholarship amount is Rs. 12,400 per month for GPAT-qualified students. Since CSMU is a private university, students should verify their eligibility for AICTE GPAT scholarship directly with the university admissions office. In addition, CSMU offers its own merit-based scholarships of up to 50% of the programme fee for students with 95% or above in their qualifying examination.
