CSMU BBA FAQs
Ques. What specialisations are available in the BBA programme at CSMU, and which one should I choose?
Ans. The BBA at CSMU is offered in three specialisations: International Business, Supply Chain Management, and Finance. International Business is ideal for students interested in global trade, export-import, and multinational business operations. Supply Chain Management focuses on logistics, procurement, and operations management, which is highly relevant given Navi Mumbai's status as a major logistics hub. Finance covers financial markets, investment, banking, and corporate finance. You should choose based on your career interests and the industry you wish to enter after graduation.
Ques. Does CSMU accept CUET-UG scores for BBA admission, or is there a separate entrance test?
Ans. Yes, CSMU accepts CUET-UG scores for BBA admissions. Candidates who have appeared in CUET-UG are exempted from the university's own entrance test, CSMUCET. However, candidates who have not appeared in CUET-UG will need to appear for CSMUCET. The admission offer is made based on the entrance test score or CUET-UG score. CSMU also offers a scholarship scheme specifically for CUET-UG candidates based on their scores.
Ques. What is the total fee for the BBA programme at CSMU, and are there any hidden charges?
Ans. The total fee for the 3-year BBA programme at CSMU is INR 3,45,000 (including the one-time non-refundable registration fee of INR 15,000). The annual fee is INR 1,10,000 per year. Additionally, an application fee of INR 1,500 and an examination fee of INR 1,000 per exam are charged separately. Hostel accommodation is optional and costs between INR 92,000 to INR 1,40,000 per year depending on the room type, with mess charges billed separately.
Ques. What is the difference between BBA at CSMU and MBA? Should I do BBA first?
Ans. BBA is a 3-year undergraduate programme that provides foundational knowledge in business administration, management principles, and specialised areas like finance or supply chain. MBA is a 2-year postgraduate programme that requires a bachelor's degree with at least 50% marks. Doing BBA before MBA is a common pathway, as BBA provides the business foundation that makes MBA studies more effective. CSMU offers both BBA and MBA, and BBA graduates from CSMU can directly apply for MBA at CSMU or other institutions after completing their degree.
Ques. What career opportunities are available after completing BBA from CSMU?
Ans. BBA graduates from CSMU can pursue careers in management trainee roles, business development, marketing, finance, supply chain, and operations across various industries. They can work with MNCs, startups, banks, logistics companies, and consulting firms. CSMU's location in Navi Mumbai, a major industrial and commercial hub, provides strong networking and placement opportunities. Graduates can also pursue higher studies such as MBA, PGDM, or professional certifications like CA, CFA, or CMA.
Ques. Is there any industry exposure or internship opportunity during the BBA programme at CSMU?
