MNLUA Unfiltered: The Real Experience

Likes

The only aspect of the college which I like is the weather, environment and mountains covering it. Apart from it, the college does not offer much to like it.
The engagement within campus is good as it is a residential campus, and the total strength being fixed and adequate, people are able to communicate and maintain harmony with each other.
The faculty management is well, but the visiting faculty is very good. Engagement with the faculty members is overall good.

Dislikes

The things I dislike is the college crowd, as the college provides too much reservation to Maharashtra students and reserved categories which makes the college environment not fruitful.
The things I dislike is the interaction of administrative powers to the faculty members which makes both the things hamper with each other and faculties take unfair advantage of them.
I dislike the college location in terms of connectivity to city and recreational activities which I think every major college faces

Admission:

I chose MNLUA because it offered a better balance of fees, academics, campus life adn hostel facilities compared to other NLUs and other law colleges. I applied to the college through CLAT, i had also applied to NLUs like MNLU Nagpur, TNNLU, DNLU and NLUJAA, but i didn't join them later as they had their own drawbacks. MNLUA admission process was simple as CLAT score, merit list, counselling and document verification. The cut-off was competitive but achievable and the overall process was smooth and transparent.

Likes

The course is comphrensive and designed very well.
The college is constantly taking steps to improve the infrastructure.
The college provides subscription to many law resources like live llaw, bar and bench, etc.

Dislikes

As the college is not yet well established, there are not many placements. However the college is constantly working upon it.

Admission:

Bases on my clat rank, I was alloted this college. Its a decent choice in tier 3 college if you are not able to secure any other college. Also the location of the college(distance from your home) will also play a role in deciding this. The admission process was very smooth. The teaching and non-teaching staff were very supportive.

Nlu, not just a place but a dream for many!

Likes

The faculties are well read, they help you no matter what, they possess appropriate degree and qualifications. And are basically available 24/7 also you can connect to them directly.
The university administration allows students to run major events held at the university to engulf them with the technical as well as soft skills like that of cooperation, public speaking boosting self efficacy and confidence.
The reimbursement policy is strict yet it provides students with the almost accurate amount requested by the students, the paperwork we do for the same makes the student understand the importance of the same in the legal field.

Dislikes

Though there is a diversity of people who come to MNLUA, but some individual seems to over power some people, disregarding their interests.
You must know Marathi to be the anchor in major events if you are not well versed in Hindi or English.
Sometimes students and professors don’t maintain a balance in their role, and despise each other without compromising their needs.

Admission:

Nlu is a brand not just a college we all know, and I have applied for Symbosis, and Ipu colleges, and othe NLUs such as sonipat, Nagpur, Shimla and other. I visited all and preferred MNLUA because of it's calm and compose atmosphere.

Admission:

CLAT scores are considered for eligibility. Website of consortium of nlu provides the form every year, usually the examination takes place in Dec. The exam fees is 4000 for reservation and 8000 in general. 120 questions consisting 5 subjects and in OMR. Negative marking of 0.25 gives the exam a tough turn. Held once a year. The admission process is great.

Likes

I like how the college is progressing as it was started only in 2017 , the pace in which it is growing is just too damn good
The faculties here are experts in there subjects , and this as a law student can really help you in your research projects
The curriculum given by the institution is extensive in nature and this helps in personal as well as professional development

Dislikes

The institution is very new and is under construction which means the infrastructure is not very good currently
There is no as such campus life but you will find a good social interaction between the students
Even though the teachers are experts of their subjects but the teaching methods are not very good

The entrance exam for the eligibility is the exam known as CLAT. Reservation benefits are surely there and the expected cutoff for this college is aroung AIR 2800 in CLAT. The admission process is pretty simple and the newbies which come for admission is given aid at every step by the college administration.

Likes

The hostel and overall campus experience
The library and the access to good reference books
The friendly environment between faculties and students

Dislikes

The area where the university is situated is pretty much a dull area with not much to explore
The accessibility to any good shops aren't much good
The food which is being provided could be better but it's always subjective to the individual itself

Admission:

The eligibility is completely based on the rank you secure in CLAT examination, the application forms are always available in the consortium website as well as the respective NLU websites, Reservations benefits are available but I personally wasn't eligible for any, the exam of CLAT is comparatively easy when compared to other competitive exams but it's hard as well as current affairs play a crucial role as well, the admission process was fairly easy and straightforward

Maharashtra National Law University, Aurangabad (MNLUA) is a newly established university under NLUs. The college is operating from the permanent campus since its start. The college admission form can be obtained from the college's official website. The admission in the college is through the CLAT test I have to qualify for the CLAT test for the college and after qualifying for the test I have to appear for the PI round in the college.

Good curriculum with best faculties

Admission:

The admission process in this college can be taken both online and offline. Admission brochures can be downloaded from the university website. The selection process is taken based on the Common Law Admission test (CLAT). I got selected with a good merit score.

Excellent college with high-tech facilities

Admission:

I took the course of L.L.B of investment and securities law in the college. The admission process takes place through online. I appeared for the entrance examination and 45 percent of the marks are required. Then we are placed through cut off marks of the entrance exam conducted.
