Likes

Best curriculum as it is all new curriculum , industrial relevent
Very supportive faculty and program managers
Very nice hostel room infrastructure with all facilities

Dislikes

Very high fees, not affordable for every student
Very poor quality of water supplies for household and sanitary chores ; hard water

Internships Opportunities:

As I am in 1st semester . I have not done so many projects yet but currently I am working on one project..KPMG is one of the company which has been tie with our college for our course. Outcomes will be get soon hopefully.

placements of my college is good many students get 1st year internship and also in 2nd year. internship in 3rd year is cumpulsory the average package is 12 lak per annum and the highest package from my college is 64 lakh per annum

Likes

The course structure on how it precisely targets the Computer Science industry.
The college has only four working days allowing the students to focus on other stuff as well
How every student is assigned a mentor and have a talk with them anytime they feel like to get guidance.

Dislikes

Not too fond of the fact that we have an exam/mock every friday
Classes start at nine and end at five making the working days very hectic and tiring.

Placement Experience:

Since this is a new college the 2nd years being the most senior batch in the college. not really sure about the placements but in terms of internships, most of the second years are doing an internship right now with some students getting an internship of 20L for 6 months etc. My plans after getting a degree is to try and fund my startup or work in one where I can make the most of my intial days in a company, giving me the hard skills for the coming future.

My Review on Rishihood University x Newton School of Technology.

Likes

The facilities in the Hostel like the AC, Microwave, Water dispenser, refrigerator are appreciatable.
The Curriculum is industry-level and is more practical oriented. Providing us in-depth view on the tech industry
The faculties are experienced in the field they're teaching in terms of industry providing us better insights to the curriculum

Dislikes

The mess food is inconsistent, the food quality is good one day and worse the other day
The hostel is loud at night degrading my sleep quality

Internships Opportunities:

Our university provides internship oppurtunities from the first year itself. But there is a mandatory internship in 3rd year 1st semester. Companies like RazorPay, Zuvees, RewardWise, Allen and many more.

Pace of syllabus compared to other colleges
The diversity of the people in this college, from varied backgrounds
Professors, they are casual and behave very friendlike with you

Dislikes

Mess food, it is amazing some weeks and extremely horrible another few.
Foundation courses, kind of irrelevant to most courses offered here. It teaches you almost nothing

Internships Opportunities:

There's a push for internships every semester starting from the first, the average stipend is 20k, but some have managed to get in the LPMs. Professors advise you to have good projects and a decent resume for them to use their connections and get you an opportunity.

Reality of Rishihood University.

Likes

Rishihood University provides you best facilites as an undergrad student in compare with other colleges.
Course curriculum is well defined and precised.
Faculty here is very supportive and guides student at every point.

Dislikes

In my course the ratio of girls is 5 times that of boys.
As my university is residential so we have to live in the campus itself.

Internships Opportunities:

Internship opportunities in my college is available and our college promises internship to all students which depend on student skills how much stipended they get during the internship period.The internships are carried out during summer breaks.

Above average college and cost justified place for better education;)

Likes

Infrastructure, facilities are top notch. One won’t complain for the facilities available like 2 cafeterias, library, residencies are all well managed.
Faculties are educated and are mostly PhDs. All the courses are designed in a way to provide practical knowledge more than theoretical learning.
Environment is quite positive and supportive. Seniors are very good and give useful advices when asked for.

Dislikes

Wifi is not very reliable. Every other day their wifi messes up our online works.
Food is overall good except for South Indian cuisine.

Internships Opportunities:

Within the college there is not much opportunity for intersndhip but availability of career advancement cell assists in individual's exposure to industry. They help students to secure placements and develop relaxant skills for the field.

I liked the fact that teachers here are completely dedicated to make their students smart enough to build their career . All of them work day and night so that their students do not lack behind and would be able to face any competition !!
I really like the events that our collage organize , so that students can take a moment to relax .

Dislikes

quality of infrastructure needs to be improved !!
There is foundation course of RISHIHOOD UNIVERSITY , that is compulsory for all the students enrolled - even b.tech students , that is very time taking for us !!
Canteen area is quite small and has only limited supplies - acc to me supplies should be increased as well as canteen area !!

Internships Opportunities:

I am 1st year student and our collage is new so none of the student is placed yet !! before this offline campus NST has online program where they used to teach students virtually on their portal . first batch will pass out in 2027

The university itself is having good environment it’s easy to adapt to the surroundings especially who goes there from south states
They are making ppl socialise by conducting some projects and group discussions and all
The faculty is chill and they are making us feel freee to approach them for doubts

Dislikes

Ppl who goes from south they can’t eat food their I mean it takes time to adapt cuz there is no spicy one over there
They aren’t giving much breaks for going to home town… like they need to give atleast one or two weeks but they ain’t giving breaks and it’s pretty hard for ppl who stays in south
In hostels hard water is provided for bathing purpose

Is Newton school of technology Btech Cs/AI really worth it in Rishihood university? My experience at this college.

Likes

The best thing i liked is the curriculum here , which is the best as they provide a online web based platform to keep a track on our performances and quizes and assignments.
The infrastructure here is really great , everything is best specially the hostels , they are equipped with functioning geizers and proper sanitisation and hyigenicness.
Internship opportunities here are really great as i myself got 3 internship opportunities including one at abroad , in just 2-3 months of my college.

Dislikes

The campus size is really small (25 acres) as it feels a bit small to explore and enjoy with your freinds
There is a foundation programme for first year student in which we are taugh social science and history which is kindof irrelevant for students of science stream.
The fees here is really on high end considering a student from middle class family and no scholarship.

Internships Opportunities:

The college provide us some really good internship opportunities. They have some really good connections in the industry itself to place us there, they keep organising some guest lectures for these internships, they keep us updated on this topic and other hackathons being organised. I myself got 3 internships of which one was paid in just 3 months of my college.
