VU M.Des Admission 2026-27

Admissions to the M.Des. (User Experience Design - UX) programme at Vishwakarma University for 2026-27 are currently open. Candidates with a valid CEED score are exempted from the university's own entrance test (VUPET). Shortlisted candidates are called for a portfolio review and personal interview. Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree (4-year programme) in Design, Fine Arts, Architecture, Engineering, or any relevant field from a recognised university.
• A minimum aggregate score of 50% in undergraduate studies is required (relaxation may apply for reserved category candidates).
• Candidates must submit a portfolio showcasing their creative work, UX projects, or design skills as part of the application.

Admission Process

1. Step 1: Register on the VU website (www.vupune.ac.in) and pay the application fee of Rs. 2,000 (non-refundable).
2. Step 2: Fill in the Provisional Admission Form and pay Rs. 25,000 to secure the provisional seat.
3. Step 3: Submit required documents including UG marksheets, portfolio, ID proof, and category certificates (if applicable).
4. Step 4: Candidates with a valid CEED score are exempted from VUPET. Others must appear for VUPET (Design Aptitude Test + Studio Test + Personal Interview).
5. Step 5: Shortlisted candidates undergo a portfolio review and personal interview.
6. Step 6: Merit list is prepared based on CEED/VUPET score and interview performance; final admission is confirmed upon fee payment.
