National Rail and Transportation Institute or NRTI offer multi-disciplinary programs that are UG programs like BBA, B.Sc, and B.Tech as well as PG programs like MBA and M.Sc with several specializations. Students can register for their interested courses by filling the online application forms available for each course on the official website of NRTI.

For BBA, the candidate must have passed 10+2 in any stream with mathematics as a compulsory subject.
For BSc, the candidate must have passed 10+2 in the science stream with mathematics as a compulsory subject.
For the B.Tech, the candidate must have passed 10+2 in the science stream with physics, chemistry, and mathematics as a compulsory subject.
Admissions to the above mentioned UG courses are based on merit obtained in entrance examinations.
Admission to BBA & BSc is provided based on marks obtained in the NRTI UG Entrance test.
Admission to B.Tech is provided based on merit obtained in JEE Main examination.
For MBA & MSc, the candidate must be a graduate in any discipline with mathematics or statistics as compulsory subjects with a CGPA/ CPI of at least 55% (50% for SC/ OBC/ ST).
Admission to MBA is provided based on merit obtained in CAT/ XAT/ MAT examinations.
Admission to M.Sc is provided based on merit obtained in the NRTI PG Entrance test.
The selection criteria for all the courses are based on the merit obtained in their respective entrance examinations.
A relaxation of 5% would be given to SC/ ST candidates in their aggregate and the relevant subject.

Payment of application fee of INR 500 for General/ OBC/ EWS and INR 250 for SC/ ST/ PWD must be made.

National Rail and Transportation Institute Scholarship

NRTI provides financial aid to about 10% of the total number of students. This financial assistance is provided based on specific family income slabs.

Slab1: Gross Family income is < INR 1,00,000. In this case, the student is eligible for a 100% tuition fee waiver and a 50% hostel fee waiver.

Slab 2: Gross Family income is between INR 1,00,000- INR 3,00,000. In this case, the student is eligible for a 50% tuition fee waiver and a 25% hostel fee waiver.

Financial aid receipts are also based on ranks obtained in the NRTI entrance test for eligible candidates.
Female candidates are eligible for 20% of seats that provide financial aid.

Yes. I have gone through the interview round. The course, as a whole, is one of its kind in India. It's not an academic but a professional course. You'll have a lot of assignments and presentations to do, meanwhile learning hard-core transportation topics in the later years, thus turning into NRTIans, groomed in teamwork and camaraderie.
