Veer Kunwar Singh University (VKSU) has 18 constituent colleges and 66 affiliated colleges offering UG, PG and Doctoral Level programs in the field of Arts, commerce, Science, Law, and Humanities. Admissions to most of the VKSU programs are based on the scores obtained in the course-specific Entrance/Admission Test conducted by the university or the Academic Merit of the Applicant. To apply for any of the courses application forms need to be filled online through official site of the university. Only those applicants who achieve the cutoff scores are then invited to counselling, where they can select their desired college and programme based on their ranking and the number of seats available. For B.Ed, admission is done on the basis of Bihar B.Ed CET scores and counselling. Admissions to VKSU PhD course is based on the PhD Entrance Test PAT and interview conducted by the university. VKSU UG Admission 2024

The university offers BA, B.Sc, B.Com, BBA, B.Ed & LL.B programs in various streams. The minimum eligibility is a pass in 10+2 from any recognized board with at least 50% marks in aggregate. However, the eligibility for B.Ed and LLB program is Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline. Admissions to B.Ed program is based on Bihar B.Ed CET scores and counseling. The candidates who satisfy the minimum eligibility requirements are eligible to appear in the entrance exam conducted by VKSU. The seats for different UG programs will be allotted by VKSU based on the candidates’ performance in the entrance exam.

Key Points:

Candidates’ age should not be more than 30 years (35 years for SC/ST) at the time of admission in LL.B program.
For minimum eligibility requirement, rounding off & normalization of marks will not be considered.

VSKU PG Admission 2024

Candidates with a relevant Bachelor’s degree are eligible to apply for MA, M.Com, MCA, MBA & M.Sc programs. Students have to qualify in the VKSU entrance test to secure admission in these courses. The final admission is offered on the basis of entrance score followed by counselling.

VKSU Ph.D. Admission 2024

For admission to VKSU PhD programs, students have to qualify in Ph.D. Admission Test (PAT). The test will comprise of two papers of 100 marks each. The first paper will consist of an objective type test with 50 questions of two marks each. The second paper will be of 15 subjective type questions of 10 marks each.

VKSU Application Process 2024

The application form for all the courses offered by VKSU except for B.Ed program can be filled online by following the given steps:

Visit the official website of VKSU and click on ‘Apply Online’ link.
Register yourself by entering the required information.
They will be led to the application form.
Fill in the details and upload the necessary documents.
Pay the application fee.
On successful application, the candidates will receive a confirmation e-mail from the University.
Appear and clear the exam.
Admission process will complete with document verification and fees payment.

VKSU - Mostly good for getting a Degree

Admission:

You'll have to have passed 12th or equivalent exam to get admission to undergraduation programs. The admission process is based on your 12th standard marks. About 3-4 merit lists are released every year with decreasing number of marks required for the admission. The more marks you have, the better college you get. There are many colleges under VKSU but the best four are H.D. Jain College, Maharaja College, SB college and Jag Jivan college. To get into HD jain College, you'll need above 90% marks. You can benefit from the reservation if you belong to a minority. There is no entrance exam for the admission. Application form can be found on University Website VKSUEXAMS.COM and the application fee is about 300. The applications usually start between June- August . There are also two additional rounds of admissions if the seats remain vacant after 3-4 merit lists . These are sports quota ( for students with good athletic ability) and spot admission ( if the seats remain vacant).

To get admission to the B.Ed course at VKSU you should qualify combined B.Ed Entrance Test conducted by Nalanda Open University with a valid score. The final selection is based on the entrance merit and marks obtained in the UG degree.
