Admission to the college requires an entrance exam covering Class 12 math, reasoning, computer, and general knowledge. Priority is given to ST/SC students. After the exam, a merit list is published, and selected candidates must confirm their seats within five days. Admission involves document verification and a fee ranging from 15,000 to 20,000 INR, depending on the course. The faculty is well-qualified, with many holding PhDs and master's degrees. The college offers a semester system with two exams per semester.

The BSc IT fee is 15,000 INR for the first year and 12,500 INR for subsequent years, while BPL students pay 3,000 INR annually. SC, ST, and OBC students pay 11,000 INR for the last two years. Additional fees include a one-time admission fee of 1,600 INR and a biannual exam fee of 700 INR per semester. Vocational courses cost about 15,000 INR per year, while self-financed courses like B.Sc(H) in Electronics cost around 12,000 INR annually.
