Maharishi University of Information Technology was established in the year 2001 in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. The university offers UG, PG, Diploma, and Doctorate program under its five departments.
MUIT Lucknow runs B.Tech in 7 specializations, B.Sc. with 10 specializations, BCA, BBA, B.Com courses at UG level. PG level courses include M.Tech with 7 specializations, MBA with 5 specializations, M.Sc. with 13 disciplines, M.Com, and MCA courses. Maharishi University of Information Technology offers B.Tech and B.Tech LTE course of 4 and 3-years duration with the intake of 7 specializations, B.Sc. with 10 specializations, along with BCA, BBA, and B.Com program of 3-years duration.
Candidates who have completed 10+2 in PCM with minimum 45% marks (minimum 40% for the reserved category) are considered eligible to join B.Tech program. The minimum eligibility requirement for admission to B.Tech LTE course is candidates must have passed Diploma or BSc in PCM, IT, CS with minimum 45% marks (minimum 40% for the reserved category).

Candidates could fill up the form in both online and offline modes. The form could be downloaded from the website, could be purchased in person from the college, or it could be filled online as well. Payment of the fee could be done in both online and offline modes.

The university offers tuition fee waiver to the meritorious students on the basis of their performance in the qualifying examination viz.:
- 100% Tuition Fee Waiver: 1st rank holder of the University
- 50% Tuition Fee Waiver: Ranked up to 5000th in JEE, or up to 500th in UPSEE or received gold or silver medal at national or state level sports.
- 25% Tuition Fee Waiver: 90% in PCM in 10+2 or 80% in Graduation or up to 5000th rank in JEE or achieved 60% in CAT or 600 marks in MAT.
- 20% fee concession for students coming from Maharishi Vidya Mandir Schools across India.
- 20% fee concession for ward of the employee of Maharishi Sansthan.
- 10% on entire tuition fees for girl students.
- 20% fee concession on entire tuition fees for a sibling.
- 15% on complete course for students from sports quota , NCC , NSS , Armed Forces.

- Faculty the Faculty of the university is very approcahable thay help ther students without a scend thought thay understand the problems or suffreing which a student might be facing and work accounding to improve it.
- Environment. The university provides a very friendly Environment to ther students there have been watercolour which has been provided in each and every floor . Ther washrooms are well maintained and cleaned.
Dislikes
- Classes . For a masters students classes are not been provide on the regular bases only 3 days classes have been provided by the faculties for ther students which are enough accouding to me for a masters students.
Admission:
I have applied also applied in teh Sharda university for the same course of masters of english but i didt conformed my addmision in that beacuse of the higher fees to be honest both of the university has the same syllabus but tehr is huge difference in the fee stuff.

I applied through cuet for 3 colleges first is DU second is BHU and third is AU but i got admission in AU but when i got admission in AU i came to Maharishi university so the admission process of AU started so late so i came to this college

- I have heard in many college that students are pressurised for scoring good cgpa but im MUIT , NOIDA the staff was supportive and don’t pressurised you for becoming a BOOKWORM or something like that. They don’t put burden on students.
- The staff and teachers are supportive …. they dont put you in stress related to your exams ( sessional and end semester ) they create a supportive atmosphere around students for performing good in your exams .
Dislikes
- The crowd of this university isn’t that educated as they all are locals.
- Management of this university isn’t that good , even my fellows complained about that to me.
Admission:
Admission Process - You only have to come and gather the details of this college from the respected admission coordinator. They provide you the full information about college curriculum, fees structure and everything. If you wanna opt for hostels they even make you visit hostel at the same time . Hostels of this colleges are affordable too. There is also a plus point for students those who are taking admission here is that the location of college is good. There is a market area near the college ( Near by market - Sector 110 Market ). There is availability of public transport near college for students easily. Nearest metro station - Nsez Sector - 82 - Botanical Garden Metro Station.

- The infrastructure is very good equipped with modern classrooms and labs , the area where the college is also very calm and peaceful , very close to metro and other places
- The teachers and professors in these college are very highly experienced and willing to approach students outside the class hours
Dislikes
- The hostel has a bad internet , sometimes it fluctuates too much and is just annoying

There were very less college which were providing this course as many colleges doesnt know about this course and the benefit it gives the admission procedure for this course is very easy and not very complicated u just need to have maths in 11th and 12th

- Infrastructure and faculty is really good and complimentary .
- There is canteen,garden and many other facilities also.
Dislikes
- You don't get expected or I say much better placements as expected to top colleges.
Admission:
Basically I take admission during the pandemic time. So, offcourse it's quite tough decision to rely on. And ya I applied for many other colleges like bhu,Lucknow University and Allahabad University for Bsc zoology hons,life sciences, biological sciences but I didn't scored well as per the demand. So, I chose this college because of the city also and the college is really good. Go forward if you are interested. And my admission procedure quite go well. It happened offline.And the eligibility is mostly by merit on bachelor's level degree it happens on your 12th marks.

- Help desk sometimes irritates more than helping you.
- The messed up timetable which exhaust the whole day
Admission:
Honestly speaking I applied for entrance exams in which I was unable to score well so apart from that I haven't focused on applying to any other private college and chose this college as I passed the graduation from the same college and thought it could be good for masters too. No due to a low score I was unable to apply to government colleges apart from this i haven't tried to get into private colleges by entrance. The Direct admission process is preferred for admission in college with good merit students get extra discount in fees that's it.

- This campus is not very big the classes of BCA department aree only gud gud

I gave CUET exam for admission in Delhi university and I scored good marks but that's my bad luck I don't fill the preference list of csas portal. DU don't gave the degree of bachelor of computer application
