NICMAR Hyderabad is a Construction Management & research center and a non-profit management institute that offers education in the field of management and construction engineering. The institute was founded in 1983 by the joint efforts of the major construction companies in India. The Department of Scientific Research of the Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India, recognized the institute as a Scientific and Industrial Research Organization (SIRO).

NICMAR Hyderabad Admission Process 2024
The selection of students is made by the selection committee. Admissions are administered centrally from Pune campus.
- Those interested in admission to the various programmes may apply online, pay fees and upload documents through the website: www.nicmar.ac.in or direct link: http://admission.nicmar.ac.in or download the application form from website and send duly filled application form to the Dean-Admissions, NICMAR, 25/1, Balewadi, N.I.A. Post Office, Pune - 411045, along with the application fee and required documents as mentioned in the application form within the specified date.
- All specified documents must be submitted. Incomplete applications will not be considered. Applications are scrutinised and eligibility is established on the basis of documents submitted.
- Eligible candidates will be invited to appear for the selection procedure, which comprises of NCAT (or, other entrance examinations as specified below), Personal Interview (PI) and Rating of Application (RA).
The details are as follows: The RA is calculated on the basis of weighted scores of the cumulative academic performance along with work experience (wherever applicable) obtained from the documents submitted to NICMAR by the candidates. NCAT Test

Selection of candidates is done on the basis of merit. The merit list is drawn on the basis of performance in NCAT/CAT/GATE/GMAT/CMAT, PI and RA. Admission offer letters are issued in the order of merit. Candidate's preference of programme/campus will be considered, but the allotment will be done at the sole discretion of the admission department, NICMAR.

Over a period of last two decades, campus recruitment at NICMAR Hyderabad has always been a very satisfying experience for both students and recruiters. This has built a strong bond and established relationship between NICMAR Hyderabad and the CRIP(Construction, Real Estate, Infrastructure and Project) industry. NICMAR Hyderabad is proud of its excellent placement record including the overseas placements. NICMAR Hyderabad Placements Jobs offered by 175 companies have been accepted by the students in all four campuses together in the full time residential programmes. The updates are provided in the following bar graph.
On an average, around 10-15% of the students secure overseas placements. NICMAR Hyderabad has achieved full final placement for all the programmes listed above. The Top International package offered was INR 22.08 LPA. Overall per student average compensation package INR 9.14 lakhs per annum, so far. In addition significant number of companies include allowances / accommodation / site allowances / reimbursements / variable pay / transportation in their offers. The value of these perquisites is not included in the average compensation package calculation.

NICMAR Hyderabad's Highest International Package stood at INR 22.08 LPA while the Average Package was offered at INR 9.14 LPA. 125+ Top Recruiters participated in the Placement Drive and offered various job roles to the students. Is scholarship available?
Yes, NICMAR University offers scholarships to the students on the basis of meritious performance.
Admission will be based on the performance in NCAT, conducted by the Institute along with the Personal Interview. CAT/GATE/GMAT/CMAT qualified candidates will be exempted from the Institution’s Entrance Examination.
MBA students can take admitted in MBA without entrance Exams such as CAT. Although all the IIMs depend on CAT for admission, various colleges have taken other routes for their MBA Admission.There are a few top B-schools too which offer Direct MBA admissions without CAT. Many private institutes also provide direct admissions in the MBA courses based on their different university entrance exams and Personal Interviews or on the basis of the candidate's score in the previous qualifying exam.
