Likes

Our college provides students with scholarships to help financially backward students and also students who are in need of help.
I can say that they are truly effective in their classes and also freely available to help students even at the non college days.
Placement opportunities for students are pretty much good as companies hire a lot more students from this university

Dislikes

I dislike the canteen food over here. They don't taste homely and i have faved stomach aches and loose motions frequently agter eating.
The dean and hod are very arrogant they don't support
The CSE department neglects extra-curricular activities to a point that its ridiculous.

Likes

Teacher are very good they interacted with us
The course details are provided to us, according to them we are moving forward
Library services are good there are large amount of books

Dislikes

Canteen service is very worst the quality is very bad
Less placement and internships, they not happening as any excursion
Overall college life enjoyment is very short

Course curriculum is very huge but highly recommended as the various things we are learning also including aptitude. We have grooming classes also for preperation ourselves for interview. They try to see us in the best position

I like that teachers are more interactive with us in our college
Teacher informed us for our placement ralated issue
The overall environment of college is good

Dislikes

Canteen service is very worst quality very bad
Not providing any internship, excursion or industrial visit
Number of students is very large according it's very problematic

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is sometimes effective But the programming language we have learned from college is not enough for placement?l. They give us the basic knowledge which is not totally real world basis

Overview of the university

Likes

There is a Good amount of placement oppertunity
Infrastructure is quite good , faculty members are also cooperative
Various types of course available & also having smart classes

Dislikes

Washroom not always clean , only the ground floor toilet is always cleaned
Not many holidays are give ....rather than other colleges
Sometimes canteen food quality is not up to the mark

College have a good fees structure it is affordable compare to other colleges
Teachers are really good and they are always available for any doughts
College provides a good number of workshops and seminars

Dislikes

College have a less field visits and practical studies
They don't have any filtration while give addmi6
The number of students are very much . There are too many students here

Course Curriculum Overview:

This college has data science which makes interesting in this course . Subjects like data analytics, data visualization etc prepare us for real world applications. Teachers should teach us more practically .. the exams are quite easy . They take two class test and one final test during each semester

The courses are affordable compare to other colleges.
They provide better placement compare to the other near by colleges in Kolkata
The ratio of teachers per student is good . There is atleast one teacher for each subject

Dislikes

They give addmission to every student. There is no filteration here.
Teacher's are not permanent here .. most of the good teacher's leave the University
They not provide that much field visits and hands on practical studies

Placement Experience:

From 6thsemester students become eligible for placement. Companies like Adobe , Wipro , TCS companies visit here and they provide a good numbers of offers. Company provides average of 3lakh placement and highest it is 18lakh. All over 90% students get the placement. After getting the degree I will seat for clg placements .

Inside Brainware University

Likes

The courses are affordable and the campus is quite beautiful
The placement percentage is good if compared to the other collagees nearby
There are various seminars and workshops.

Dislikes

They give admission to everyone unfiltered , even if someone is not from the required background they give them admission.
The population of the University is too much. They take too easy entrence exams, that also in online, so everyone passes the exam .
The faculty members changes every month, i have seen hardly few teachers who were permanant.

Placement Experience:

The placement perccentage is 99% as they claim , it is some what true , they give placement to mostly everyone but only the 50% gets a good offer. If you are honest and do the 4 year course with a little sincerity you will definitely fall under the 50% .

Brainware University : A well place for the Future.

Likes

The faculty system is well. The system is well coordinated.
The environment inside the campus is friendly. NO RAGGING Campus is enabled.
The infrastructure of labs are also good. Its is enough for good experimentations.

Dislikes

The sports facility inside the college is poor. The system is not enough for all the students
The food available inside the canteen is not so good in comparison with the price.
The parking facility for the students is also not so good.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem students become eligible for campus placements. The companies visits are like TCS, Cognizant, Infotech, Wipro etc. The percentage of students placements FY 2024 is 90% Plans after getting degree is Start-Ups

College Life on Brainware University

Likes

I liked the faculty teachers and the whole management. They were very helpful and needful, supported in every work and helped in every problem that i faced.
The campus life is good, as the campus is huge. There are lots of benefits of it from canteen to university ground to gym every necessity is provided.
The infrastructure is good and beneficial. The University also used to held certain events and music festival, but the worse part is that we have to contribute it from our pockets.

Dislikes

The things i dislike most is the backlog fees structure.
I also dislike the factor that the students have to pay for the events and programme organised by the university.
I also dislike the fact that the management is not communicative and also doesn't support the students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course that i choosed was good, but i felt that it was not the university that was meant for this course. The teavhing standards was good but we were not given any practical study of this course which somewhat gives a backward in this point. We were also not given whole idea and deep study of specific subjects.

I love my college life .

Likes

Clean and green campus.Very near and clean .
The fees structure is not too high .many students can afford it with the help of scholarships .

Dislikes

Too much strict .Have to maintain 75 percent attendance per semester .

Course Curriculum Overview:

In every semester we have to give 2 semester end examination as well as 2 class tests.And there are 2 assignments in each semester in each subject we have to submit it on time as well as we have to submit and give ppt presentation as it carry 10 marks .

It's a very good college in the west bengal and infrastructure is too good so you join this collage.

Yes in brainware university biotechnology is the very popular course,and very good infrastructure.
Campus Life is good ,and so many opportunities in this college
Infrastructure is good , bundling are so futurestic

Small campus ,play groubd is too small and play ground is small
So many assignments and project,holy day are below then govment collage ,
Some faculties are not good ,over all this college is good

So many curricular activities in this course,and so many opportunities for research and many experience and experiments. Genetic engineering are attached in this course. For government job is improving this course 2ct exam and q semester in one year
