Highly education ,communication skill,very good teachers and staff members , post graduates teacher , polite good in study , neat and clean classroom and lecture halls seminar hall ,good computer systems
In bca my fee is around 5 lakh, there scholarships available for those students who score good marke in there 12th, by the good mark they can score good in university also.
I am a 1st year student. till know i have not experienced. but seeing from 1st year student till know the college is pretty good . i have liked the festival

Dislikes

There were no cut off process and no entrance exam, any stream of students can apply for bca which is my course, think i don't like about the admission process is we have to submit fee before samester start
Tution fee is bit consistent throughout the semester complete cost waa around 3 lakh no such scholarships were provided by the college there were no such employability roles were given from college
Some faculties are really arrogant and they don't have a helpful hand.

Great teachers for basic theory knowledge , library,good environment

Dislikes

No practical knowledge if you want to have there are some teachers with higher ego who only wants you to be quiet in class

Well considering that its very difficult to answer because presenting only presentation doent help it overall giving broader and practical knowledge is must giving ratios on real life is must were it lag

Graphic era hill university: The Reality

Likes

Bus services: The transportation services are very good. There are a total of 90 buses and there are 3 pickup times for it.
Faculties: these are some good faculties.

Dislikes

Placements: There are not much placements as we thought there would be
campus: the campus is not big enough to. Make it look better

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from. 2nd year only. Companies visited are Microsoft, wipro, infosys and many more The percentage is pretty low . The highest package offered was 40lpa and offcampus it was 84lpa

There is a wide variety for extra curricular activities.
The college infrastructure is good and campus is also good.
The teaching quality is good.They also have fest Evey year for students.

Dislikes

The management is very poor.They didn't even listen to anything.
Some faculties just focus on completing their syllabus for exams.Not on whether the student is able to grasp the concept
Also the time table sucks they didn't even provide any proper time table.

Placement Experience:

The campus placements start from the 7 th semester.But the companies started coming from 5 th sem for internship opportunities.There are tie up between company and college.Some companies that visited this year are DeShaw,Zscalar, Accenture, TCS , Amazon, Myntra ,Genpact, PayPal but the hiring was less by companies this year due to recession and 300 students get placed from batch of 2024.

Good college

Likes

Campus is very Good, there ia no problem for seating in class .
Faculty is well qualified and they consult student as friend.
All higher officials like register,vc are very active for college.

Dislikes

No proper communication to students regarding problrms.
To much students from last 2 batch no. Of stu. Is ver much.
Sometimes there ia mistime and mismatch about class distribution.

Placement Experience:

They gives a good oppurtinity on campus placement and they started gives internship oppurtunity from 4th sem and if you not able to grab on campus placement they also sent a conpany to you after you course complition.

A decent choice

Likes

The campus infrastructure is nice, most of the classes now have smart screens and projectors are present in every class, generator is there so no discomfort in summers
Cafeteria and a canteen is there for all students and staff. Every hostel has its own mess too. Food quality is acceptable.
Basketball and football ground present. Play room for Table tennis and badminton is also there.

Dislikes

Senior-Junior interaction is pretty low in btech cse
The time table can be pretty hectic as the classes start from 8 am and end at 6pm, although there are breaks in between it still gets tough.
Parking area is relatively less as compared to the number of vehicles.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is almost same as all engineering universities across the country. The placement and training classes prepare you for placememts, real world competitions and even hackathons. One thing which i don't like is that they don't provide you a roadmap of how you can start your learning journey. As freshies we can be quite confused hence guidance is very important. Exams are conducted twice every semester, mid sem and end sem, along them practicals are conducted too and tests for sessionals.

The faculty is great there.They are very good and enthusiast towards there subjects.They are always keen to help students and help to understand students today''s requirement for industries in tech field
Environment is calm there.There is no ragging at all.Strict against those who misbehave in campus.Security guards and cameras are all over the place so there is no chance that you can break rules inside the campus.
Mostly students are from Uttarakhand so therefore I didn't found any difficulty to get engage with more students as friend.Frindly environment is present there.

Dislikes

Campus is really small as per fees.You can visit whole campus in just 10-15 minutes by foot.Classrooms are good and bigger in size but they don't have AC or cooler.Classroom have fans only.
They don't have bigger ground.There is a small ground present in the campus itself.
The Hostel fees is too high. They charge 1.5lakh/yr for hostel rooms.Quality of mess food is acceptable.

Placement Experience:

After 6th semester you are eligible for placements.I only took admission in this college because of good placements they have.The average placements pacakage is 12- 14 lakh which is good.Last year 2023 the highest package is around 50lakh but that is off campus, in campus placement is about 22-30lakh.Top recruiters for placements are TCS, infosys, adobe, atlassian, microsoft sometime and. Many more.There is good percentage of students who got placed through college.

Likes

There are different different clubs for almost every activity present here. These also provide good exposure
College organize seminar or conference frequently
College have placement cell which is available easily and a pdp department for interviews and all teaching

Dislikes

College have bad student teacher ratio and also student class ratio
College focuses on exams and theories rather than on practical knowledge

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester or say last year of your course student becomes eligible for campus placement. Placement rate is not 100% so many people are their who are unplaced and go for offcampus placement. Companies like tcs, flipcart, Amazon, ibm visits.

A college's hope and result

Likes

Dress code of the college and the small but good infrastructure
The cctv system and the water system here
There we have a few good staff which is actually talented

Dislikes

90% of the teaching staff just flex they dont know the basics of the course
Some teachers has arrogant menatlity they just say see u in exam
The placment department is pure if any comapny select u then you cant sit for next

Placement Experience:

The placament is below avg say, there was no major or good comapnies at that time only accenture cognizent global logic type comapnies are there and the student which got the highest package are those who has good connection. Over Linkedin and applied offline and the college says these comapnies came in campus recruitment. The highest which is actually the highest is 1500000 and the lowest is 0 as some students are not even palced.

Annual campus fest is of 3 days and all the days are worth attending
city in which campus is located is an amazing place to spend and explore during your college phase
Cultural diversity is amzing and u get to meet different region peeps

Dislikes

Campus size is small compared to other branches

Placement Experience:

Placement are a hard phase during college life but the average placement that our course got this year is arround 50 lacs and companies that visited us are also good and took a lot of students. Companies that visited are volvo, adobe, google, Amazon, accenture

Well talking about the campus, its pretty big open and provides fine architecture for all departments.
College stands among top universities in uttarakhand, and its placements have gone as high as 86 LPA while the average is 5 LPA
The staff and faculty are good in communication and highly experienced that provide students with carreer and moral guidance.

Dislikes

There is too much crowd, number of students is increasing drastically each year
Sports is not much neglected and sports faculty is very few in numbers.
There is much rowdiness and hoogliness in some students who often disrupt the college atmosphere.

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are high and five. Highest was 83LPA and average is 5 LPA . About 50 and more companies come to the college every year . the are some that recruit in masses while go for the most expectional students.
