The gaps between classes. After a lecture of 1 hour, there is no break and another lecture starts instantly
Classes sometimes feel very suffocating. And with more than 50 students in one class and 3 made to sit on a single bench, its hard to sit and breathe.

Fees and Financial Aid:

I paid 50k rupees as the registration and slot booking fees when applying at the University. They are to be refunded now that my first semester fees has been paid. A 25% scholarship was applied on tuition fees. There is a 5% increment on the fees every year. A payment of 10500 is paid every year as extra.

GEHU is great!!

Student Snaps:

GEHU Dehradun is a private university and therefore expensive than many. Still a shade below 3 lakh isn't that much because university is extremely good. The University's girls hostel Marina Hostel which is, is also top class and it costs 1.8 lakhs a year.

GEHU is a great college to be a part of!!

GEHU Dehradun is like a top engineering college and is a part of illustrious Graphic Era group. GEHU is smaller in comparison with its parents college GEU and is more for students from Uttarakhand. Students from Uttarakhand gets discount in fees and also our fees is lesser than GEU. While GEU charges 5 lakhs. Year our fees is just 3.5 lakhs a year.

Enginnering life

There were very low free periods especially for the engineering students and good attendance is compulsory to appear in the semester exams

The year wise fees i paid is around INR 165000 after the first year and in the first year it was approx 176000 including admission fee of around 15000.The registration fee was 1200. The other fee like development fee , sports fee, lab fees ,caution fee and bus fee are included already in the tution fee. The tution fee increases 3000 to 4000 per semester. My batchmate fees were higher for some students and lower than me for others depending upon the scholarship they get. For the Hill University there is a 25% fee concession for Uttarakhand students. And other scholarship according to the performance of a student in class 10 and 12 . Jee scores are also valid and other concession like defence, siblings or you have played any sport till nationals then there will be suitable amount of fee concession.The overall fee i had paid in my course was approx 7.5 lakh

Fee structure mine is -936000 for whole btech Scholarship I have are - 5% for defence 25% for uttrakhand domicile 10% for yearly fee submission discount And yes some amount of the fee could increase every semester

College is worth taking admission .

Also the back students get in exams is little too much .

* The yearly fees which i paid is approx 240000. * Tutions fees is 190000, then comes admission fees which is approx 15000, lab fees and other utilities is 4000, then traveling fees is 2000, then comes exam fees is 180000, rest is other . * there are scholarships based on 10th and 12th percentage . Also uttarakhand domicile which is 25 percent . So my few batchmates pay 170000 yearly . It varies .

Graphic Era Hill University

Overall fees that I submit yearly is about 2.5 lakh there were many concession like 5% for being an army brat , 5% for belonging from Uttarakhand. If you get any backlog in exam then you have to give extra 1500 ruppee for giving the exam again . If you score good marks in you high school or intermediate you will be given a good scholarship and you have to maintain more than 7 CGPA otherwise your scholarship will be cancelled. The motive is for students so that they score good and study well. For confirming your seat in college during admission time you have to give an advance of 50 thousand ruppee in the admission cell to become an official member/student of university. You are given an student id and password from which you can look at your academics like exams , notification, registration , fees , result and all you can also submit your fees from that ERP even from home if you face any type of difficulty you can contact ERP cell or account office of campus and they will further guide you and also help you out. B-tech is the most expensive degree in college after this BCA with 50 to 60 thousand per semester and others too with less fees .

Graphic era Hill University Dehradun variety of ug and pg programs ,each with it's own fee structure. I opted for b tech CSE and my yearly fees is around 2.5 lakh. They offers scholarship for the students belongs to the hilly area around 25% of the total fees. Also academic scholarship based on 12 percentage , cuet and jee percentile. Also for defence ward they offer some concession. I was in 1st simester so as per as my batch mates they are paying around 2 lakh a year. one of them is under defence ward he pays around 1.5 lakh a year.
