Shobhit University Gangoh Course Admission 2025: Dates, Fees, Eligibility, Application Process, Selection Criteria

Shobhit University offers Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) degree programme in as many as nine different specializations alongside Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm.) degree programme to aspiring students. The duration of the B.Tech programme is four years while the B.Pharm programme needs five years to complete its duration.

Aspiring candidates for the B.Tech programme must have passed the 10+2 level examination Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate to be considered eligible to take part in the admission process.

Admission is done on the basis of merit in National level Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).

Candidates who wish to seek admission to the B.Pharm programme must have passed the 10+2 level examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects and with either Biology, Biotechnology, Computer Science or Mathematics as one of the optional subjects. Candidates must also secure a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate to be considered eligible to partake in the admission process.

Admission to the B.Pharm programme is done on the basis of merit in Shobhit University National Entrance Test (SUNET) conducted by Shobhit University.Admission is also done through National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).

Aspiring candidates for both BBA and BCA programmes must have passed the 10+2 level examination to be considered eligible for admission.

Admission to both BBA and BCA programmes is done on the basis of merit in the qualifying 10+2 level examination.

A host of undergraduate courses is offered by Shobhit University in the fields of Science, Arts, Commerce and a host of other specializations. The duration of the undergraduate courses ranges from five and a half years to one year depending upon the nature of a particular course.

The Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) is subdivided into B.Sc (Honours) degree and B.Sc. (General) degree both lasting for a duration of three years each. The B.Sc. (Honours) programme is offered in seven different specializations namely, Computer Science, Electronics, Biotechnology, Biomedical, Bioinformatics, Agriculture and Yogic Science. The B.Sc. (General) programme is offered under core subjects like Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

Candidates aspiring to take admission to either B.Sc (Honours) or B.Sc. (General) course must have passed the 10+2 level examination to be considered eligible for admission. Admission to both the courses is done on the basis of merit in the qualifying 10+2 level examination.

For the Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) honours programme aspiring candidates must have passed the 10+2 level examination to be considered eligible to take part in the admission process. Admission is done based on merit of candidates in the qualifying 10+2 level examination.

The Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) Honours degree programme is offered in two different specializations such Arts and Yoga. Candidates must have passed the 10+2 level examination and their admission is based on merit in the qualifying 10+2 examination.

The university also offers undergraduate paramedical courses specializing in the field of Ayurveda, Medicine and Surgery and Naturopathy and Yogic Sciences leading to the BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurveda, Medicine and Surgery), BNYS (Bachelor of Naturopathy and Yogic Sciences) degrees respectively. The duration of both the courses is five and a half years each.

Aspiring candidates for both the paramedical courses must have passed the 10+2 level examination with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as compulsory subjects and with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate to be considered eligible for admission.

Admission to both the courses is done on the basis of Shobhit University National Entrance Test (SUNET). Admission is also done through National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) examination.

Shobhit University also offers diploma courses in field of Education and Elementary education which leads to the D.Ed. and D.EL.ED degrees respectively. The duration of both the diploma courses is two years each.

Lastly, Shobhit University offers Bachelor of Library Science (BLIS) degree programme to aspiring students for a duration of one year. Candidates must hold a Graduation degree for admission to the BLIS programme. Their admission will be done on the basis of merit in the qualifying Bachelor’s degree examination.

Shobhit University offers Integrated courses in the field of Arts, Commerce and Business Administration leading to the B.A. LLB, B.Com LLB and BBA LLB courses respectively. The duration for each of the Integrated courses is five years.

Candidates aspiring to seek admission to the Integrated programmes offered by the institute must have passed the 10+2 level examination with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate to be considered eligible for admission.

Shobhit University offers Master of Computer Application (MCA) and Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree programme at the postgraduate level. The MBA course is offered for a period of two years whereas the MCA programme takes three years to complete the course duration.

The MBA programme is subdivided into two groups of courses MBA International and MBA (Weekend Mode). Aspiring candidates for all the MBA courses must have passed the 10+2 level examination with a minimum of 50% marks to be considered eligible for admission.

However, for the MBA (Weekend Mode) candidates must have relevant work experience of two years.

Admissions to the MBA and MBA International courses are done on the basis of merit in SU MAT (Shobhit University Management Aptitude Test). Admission is also done on the basis of merit in National level Aptitude Tests like CAT (Common Admission Test), Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) or Management Aptitude Test (MAT).

Admission to MBA (Weekend mode) is done on the basis of performance of a candidate in Personal Interview round conducted by Shobhit University.

Candidates aspiring to seek admission to the MCA programme must have passed the 10+2 and Graduation level examination with Mathematics as a compulsory subject to be considered eligible for admission. Admission is done on the basis of merit in the qualifying Bachelor’s degree examination.

Shobhit University offers Master of Technology (M.Tech) and Master of Pharmacy (M.Pharm) degree programmes at the postgraduate level for a duration of two years each.

Candidates aspiring to seek admission to the M.Tech programme which is offered in as many as seven different specializations must hold B.E. / B.Tech degree in a relevant discipline of Engineering or Technology with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate to be considered eligible for admission.

Admission to the M.Tech programme is done on the basis of merit in National level GATE examination (Graduate Aptitude Test for Engineering) conducted jointly by Indian Institute of Science (IISC) and Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs).

Aspiring candidates for the M.Pharm programme must hold a Graduation degree in Pharmacy or an equivalent degree to be considered eligible to take part in the admission process.

Admission to M.Pharm course is done on the basis of merit in the qualifying Bachelor’s degree examination.

Shobhit University offers postgraduate courses in the field of Science and Commerce specializing in a host of different specializations leading to the M.Sc. and M.Com degrees respectively. The university also offers a Postgraduate Diploma programme to aspiring students that lasts for a duration of one year.

Candidates who wish to take admission to the M.Sc. programme must hold a Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline of Science with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate to be considered eligible to take part in the admission process. Admission is based on the merit of the candidates in the qualifying Bachelor’s degree examination.

For the M.Com programme candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree of minimum three years duration with a minimum of 50% marks in Commerce or its equivalent branch of study to be considered eligible for admission. Admission is done on the basis of merit in the qualifying Bachelor’s degree examination.

The PG Diploma programme specializing in Yoga Therapy lasts for a duration of one year. Aspiring candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree of minimum three years duration and secure a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate to be considered eligible to take part in the admission process. Admission is done on the basis of merit in the qualifying Bachelor’s degree examination.

The LLM programme is offered in a full time as well as part-time basis lasting for a duration of one year and two years respectively. The duration of the LL.B. programme lasts for a duration of three years.

Candidates who wish to seek admission to the LL.B. programme must hold a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline to be considered eligible for admission. Admission to the LL.B. programme is done on the basis of merit in Common Law Admission Test (CLAT).

The eligibility criteria for the LL.M. programme is that of a LL.B. degree, so candidates aspiring to take admission to either part-time or full-time LLM courses must hold a LL.B. degree to be considered eligible for admission. Admission is done on the basis of merit in the qualifying Bachelor’s level examination.

The M.Phil programme is offered in as many as seven different specializations namely, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Computer Science, Microbiology, Management and Mathematics. Aspiring candidates must hold a Master’s degree in the concerned discipline with a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate to be considered eligible for admission. Admission is done on the basis of merit in Entrance examination followed by Personal Interview round conducted by Shobhit University.

For the Ph.D programme candidates similarly must have held a Master’s degree with a minimum of 55% marks to be considered eligible take part in the admission process. Admission is based on the performance of candidates in the Entrance Examination, which is followed by a Personal Interview round.
