  • Alternatively, a four-year Bachelor's Degree in the relevant field with a minimum of 75% marks or equivalent CGPA is also accepted (direct admission in Full Time mode only for this category).
  • SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer)/Differently-Abled/EWS candidates are eligible for a 5% relaxation in the minimum marks requirement as per UGC Regulations 2022.

Admission Process:

  • Fill and submit the online application form at www.amity.edu/phd (no hard copies accepted); pay the application fee of Rs. 1,500 online.
  • Upload required documents: passport-size photograph, Class X marksheet, PG marksheet, Preliminary Research Idea (max 1,000 words), and Employment Verification Certificate (mandatory for Part Time applicants).
  • Submit NOC from employer (as per Amity's prescribed format) at the time of joining after selection.
  • Appear in APET (90-minute, 100 MCQs, no negative marking) - Section 1: General Aptitude (50 marks), Section 2: Chemistry-specific (50 marks). Candidates with valid CSIR-NET/GATE/GPAT/DST-INSPIRE/DBT-JRF scores are exempt from APET.
