Amity University Mumbai M.Tech Environment Science & Technology Admission 2026
Admissions to the M.Tech (Environmental Biotechnology / Environment Science and Technology) programme at Amity University Mumbai for the 2026 batch are currently ongoing. Applications are accepted through the online portal, and shortlisted candidates are called for a Personal Interview. GATE scores (BT - Biotechnology or XL - Life Sciences or EY - Ecology and Evolution paper) are considered for admission. The programme is open to candidates with a B.Tech in Biotechnology, Environmental Engineering, or related disciplines, or an M.Sc. in Environmental Science, Biotechnology, Microbiology, or Life Sciences.

Note: GATE 2026 has already been conducted. Candidates with valid GATE 2026 scores (BT, XL, or EY paper) can apply directly. For GATE 2027, registration is expected to open around August 2026. Amity University Mumbai also accepts direct admission through Personal Interview without a mandatory GATE score.

Eligibility Criteria
- B.Tech in Biotechnology, Environmental Engineering, or related disciplines from a recognised university
- OR M.Sc. in Environmental Science, Biotechnology, Microbiology, or Life Sciences from a recognised university
- Minimum aggregate of 60% marks (or equivalent CGPA) in the qualifying degree
- Candidates in their final year of the qualifying degree are also eligible to apply provisionally
Admission Process
- Step 1: Register and fill the online application form at portal.amity.edu
- Step 2: Submit academic documents and qualifying degree details
- Step 3: Shortlisting based on academic profile and/or GATE score
- Step 4: Attend Personal Interview (conducted on campus or virtually)
- Step 5: Receive offer letter and complete fee payment to confirm admission
- Step 6: Document verification and enrolment at the time of joining
