Additionally to improve the employability, the students are required to be molded in their skill sets as per the industry expectations. Hence, we at MPEC arrange Industry visits, summer training in order to prepare them to work in industry. In this context department regularly arranges IBM training workshops each year on IBM technologies such as Websphere, Ecllipse, DB2 etc.

Students register for this program due to the excellent job prospects in this field and due to the well rounded educational program offered by the department. The training program is imparted through innovative and participative learning and teaching techniques such as conduct of mini projects, use of multimedia projector, question bank, tutorials, assignments and regular class tests. The department has a faculty strength of sixteen whose interests span almost all areas of computer science and engineering. All the faculty have extensive teaching experience at undergraduate(B.Tech) and postgraduate level.
