My friend is currently pursuing an MBA from IIM Sambalpur and has listed the following pros and cons of the institute Pros Under the mentorship of IIM Indore, IIM Sambalpur is slowly making its mark in the IIM family. It welcomes visiting faculties from IIM Indore which also shares the research work and other material with Sambalpur IIM Sambalpur might soon become an educational center as it hosts one of the oldest engineering colleges of the state which is on its way to becoming an IIEST, a very reputed government medical college and a couple of other well-known government universities. The airstrip near the city might soon become an airport in the near future thereby enhancing connectivity. Although it functions from a leased campus, the infrastructure is top notch Cons It does not have its own campus and functions from leased premises The campus is situated 20 km away from the city and the nearest railway station in a lowly private engineering college. The placement is nowhere near the IIM standards Weak alumni base due to recent establishment The faculties are mediocrely experienced The lack of connectivity is a major reason for poor placements. IIM Sambalpur - The State-of-the-Art Campus Life

Fees and Financial Aid:

The year wise fees is Rs.21,01,000 for 2 years and year wise break up are Rs.10,58,000 for the first year and Rs.10,43,000 for the second year of the program. The tuition fees for both the years is Rs. 7,00,000. The registration fees charged is Rs. 50,000 which iss adjusted later with term 1 fees. Cjuation fees is Rs. 20,000 which is refundable at the end of the 2 year course. The rest charges are Placement charges, Student Affairs Council charges, Alumni charges etc. There is no demarkation category wise but for foreign students the breakup is different and there are several scholarships floated throughout the year for financial aid.

IIM Sambalpur- A journey worth living

hectic schedule- You have to manage classes, Guest sessions and placement preparatory session in a day.

The fees is to be paid semester wise which costs me around Rs 216000/- per semester. For IIM Sambalpur you for locking the waitlist you have to deposit Rs 10000 which will get reimbursed you have not got the offer otherwise it will settle with offer acceptance fees which was Rs 50000. All thing were included in the fees no other charges.

There was hike 4 lacs in the feees this year because of permanent campus , cost of study is high there are many scholarship and financial assistance based on caste , need and government policies . We get internship and final placement

IIM Sambalpur Review

The fee structure for the first-year MBA program at IIM Sambalpur including the tuition fee, hostel fee, refundable caution deposit, and mess deposit is INR 6,59,000 out of which candidates should pay INR 2,28,000 in the first installment, INR 2,13,000 in the second installment, and INR 2,18,000 in the third installment.
