Likes

The faculty is very qualified and teach us very effectively, some professors are hard to understand but overall the faculty is pretty nice.
They provide one cot one almera, two bulbs one fan in the single occupancy room food quality is good enough they provide both north and south indian food in the college the hostel is good because they constructed recently.
These classrooms have wifi connectivity, acs, comfortable and student friendly seats and tables.

Dislikes

The campus is located on the outskirts of Kurnool city. So you will be disconnected from the city life. If you are from the North then definitely you may face language problems while countering the locals. But stilll you can manage No big problem
Passing exam can be difficult due to tough papers covering the syallbus with limited time for preparation
Outing times are really low it is difficult to catch transport vehicles and come int time into the campus

About IIITDM KURNOOL and some general things to know about btech

Likes

Facilities are very good and exceed my expectations.
Infrastructure, campus life all are excellent 👌👌.
Only thing is worrying about placements from core side because more no ofcompanies are not coming

Dislikes

Boys to girls ratio😭😭😭 very sad. More girls, it's better 😅😅.

Placement Experience:

For the IT side, there are more opportunities. And very good placements taking place. But coming to the core side i.e., the hardware side if cgpa is more than 9 or near 9 u can have more opportunities and u can get an equal package as its side. If we don't get placed we can do a master's degree and can get a job by showing our skills.

Mess and the transport facilities are not very good

The placements for 2022 aren't disclosed yet but the previous year the placements were pretty decent with an AVG package of 10Lakhs per annum and a highest package of 1.3Cr. The percentage of students getting placed is 75%roughly.

Placements are not good only 80 percent of students got Placement. Campus only focuses on academics which is useless. Highest package 1.5 cr international package off-campus Placement. 30 lakhs on-campus Placement by dunzo. You have prepared on your own to get placements.

campus placements were not upto the mark but they were ok students are eligible for placements from 6th semester there were nearly 20 to 30 companies visite our college and the highest package was around 35lpa which is off campus

Remarks:

Took college based on JEE mains. Its new college established in 2015. Its above average and its developing at a faster rate. The institute started functioning at its permanent campus. Its one of the 5 fully funded iiits
