Bennett University ScholarshipTerms & Conditions

There are several terms and Conditions for Bennett University Scholarships and those are:

In case a student is eligible for multiple scholarships, the university will award the scholarship with the highest value as per the university guidelines.
For B.Tech Program marks in Physics, Math, and any third subject in class XII examination conducted by CBSE or equivalent from a recognized board will be considered for scholarship criteria
For Other programs, aggregate marks of the best 3 (with English mandatory in a few programs) subjects in class XII conducted by CBSE or equivalent from a recognised board will be considered for scholarship criteria.
There are a limited number of scholarships that will be served only on a merit basis; if there are a higher number of students in a particular scholarship bracket, the students in the order of merit will be shifted immediately to the lower bracket (if available).
For scholarship, valid scores of respective examinations will be considered.
Continuation of the Academic Scholarships will be awarded based on 8 CGPA at the end of each academic year. A minimum CGPA of 8 is required to carry forward the scholarship after the first year, and must have passed all the examinations, and there should not be any disciplinary action against the student. For B.Tech AI 8.5 CGPA is required for the continuation of scholarship.

Bennett University Other(Special) Scholarships are as follows:

Sibling Scholarship: Bennett University also offers an additional 10% on a merit scholarship for siblings from the same parents of alumni.
Alumni Scholarship: The university offers a 10% scholarship to UG students opting PG program at Bennett University itself. This scholarship is an addition to a merit scholarship.
Single Girl Child Scholarship: Candidates with no siblings and only a girl child to their parents can avail 10% of the scholarship the first year in addition to the merit scholarship.
Defence Personnel Scholarship: Wards of Defence Personnel (Serving/Retired) are eligible for a 5% scholarship in addition to a merit scholarship at, and international competitions and is served on a first-come, first-serve 100% scholarship for students under the sports quota. The scholarship is offered for candidates participating in state, national and international competitions. The scholarship is valid for the first year of the tuition fee.

They give scholarship on the basis of boards and competitive exam scores. They don't have any reservation.

They try their best to remove your scholarship on the cost of students getting less score and they do this by doing strict marking which is obviously harmful for our future

Fees and Financial Aid:

In the first year my fees was 380000 and in second year my fees was 390000 and in 3 year my fees will become 4 lakh and same goes for 4th year. And my college also provides scholarship on basis of JEE score and 12th percentage so since I scored 80% tile in my JEE exam I was eligible for 30% scholarship so for the first year I paid latent rs 219000. And in second year I paid 217500. And some of my friends is scored above 90% tile so they have received a scholarship of 50% and their are other scholarships too such as I am a defence ward so I was eligible for additional 5% of scholarship and if you are a single girl child you are eligible for 10% of scholarship. But the important factor is that a if you receive scholarship in first year to maintain that scholarship you have to score above 8 CGPA.

Currently I'm a 4th year student. Our fees structure was fixed for entire 4 years(but for freshers fees will increase by some percent each year) 1. Our fees was 3,60,000 a year. So I had a 50% scholarship so that reduces to 1,80,000 a year 2. Tution fees=3,60,000 . At admission i also paid a 1,00,000 registration fees. 5000 exam fees per semester. And 40,000 security which they said is refundable 3. My batchmate had more or less fees depending on scholarship. At my time there were more or probably many scholarship options . Like if parents in defence or if any parent in Bennett etc. but I guess nowadays max scholarship can't exceed 50. At my time some have 70-80 scholarship too (50 tution, some from defence, 5% if good in sports etc.) 4. For students scholarship are based on various scores. It keeps on changing. For exact amount refer Bennett's website. But at my time scholarship was there based on 12th score of JEE or some other exams you had given. So there were multiple criteria. Also we had if our scholarship is gone but we scored decent cgpa then we can ask them for around 10 % scholarship.

My fees is 2,80,000 per semester for B.A LL.B, and this only includes semster fees not hostel. My hostel fee including food per semester is 80,000. Although, my college offers scholarship and i currently have 40 percent scholarship. Because of which i pay around 1,82,000. This includes all extra charges, security or exam charges. Scholarship based on CLAT scores, 12th scores etc.

There are a lot of scholarships provided to the students based on: Merit-Based Scholarships, Sibling Scholarship, Alumni Scholarship, Single Girl Child Scholarship, Defence Personnel Scholarship, Sports Scholarship and amounts to 10% to 50% of the fee structure getting waived off.
