Swami rama himalayan university was established in year 1995 It is one of the oldest and best university in uttrakhand providing many medical ,technical , and allied courses. It is a private university and is mci, ugc, indian nursing councing aproved. It is located close to jollygrant airport dehradun . There are currently running many ug , pg and doctral degree programs distributed to its four colleges - 1.HIMALAYAN INTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCE (HIMS ) 2.HIMALAN INSTITUTE OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY( HSST) 3. HIMALAYAN COLLEGE OF NURSING( HCN) 4. HIMALAYAN SCHOOL OF MANAGEMENT STUDIES( HSMS) SWAMI RAMA HIMALAN UNIVERSITY provide top notch facilites related to studies . There are 100+ faculties currently teaching here , Students come here from various parts of India be it be the South East or west. This college is having a famous hospital HIMALAYAN HOSPITAL inside campus with 2500+ opd per day. For students gym, cafe, library and all other sports facilites are available insid

- I liked my college campus It is very big campus and almost all facilities are available for students
- Like cafe, volleyball court, basketball court Football ground General shopping stores

- Easily get admission no need to any entrance exam
- They have parking problem for yoga students
Fees and Financial Aid:
we pay fees semester wise Like there are six semester in my course Per semester fee 18000 to 20000 including tuitions fees and other fees in my college. There are admission in two categories. First is Uttarakhand domicile category and second is all India candidate student who have Uttarakhand domicile, they have less fees and all India candidate I am the registration fee is only one time fee and also they deduct one time alumni fee which they refund after course completed

- Campus is filled with greenry and alot of gardening
- Faculty members are polite in nature and behaviour is good
Dislikes
- Classes are not well maintained as I thought
- Mostly time teachers are unavialable to take class
Fees and Financial Aid:
The overall fee structure for per year is 100000 but it mainly depends on the category of the candidate. As I belong to ALL INDIA RANK my fee structure for per sem is 40000 and candidates belong toh PRU pay 35000
Dislikes
- The bus runs only once a day when the bus must complete two rounds
- Sometimes teachers talk very badly to students
Fees and Financial Aid:
Yearly fee is Rs.100000 and 6 months fee for the bus is Rs.9500. The college bus runs only one time, that is not a good thing at all, the studies are also less, only a few children get placement. Some children have less fees and children on scholarship have less fees than us.

- I like the college vast campus and its beautiful park and good grounds for sports
- I like its labs as it contains good equipment and experiment are easily done their

- I dislike some teachers who shout at students unnecessary
- I dont like when faculties do partiality between mbbs student and other department student

- Things that i like are the college campus, it has a vast campus , with a lot of greenery present. College is also locted in quit peaceful place. It has a beautiful park also.
- Their are different lab with many instruments and machines to perform different experiments. The best thing is that our college has a patent department which is very helpful for students to patent their discoveries.
Dislikes
- Thing that i dislike is the partiality between the mbbs students and other department students. Mbbs students are treated as higher people.
- Some teachers behave like school teachers and just shout on students unnecessary. Assignment are given which are not at all creative and we just need to copy from google and thats all no information is gained from it.

Tution fee per semester for all indian category is= 35,000/- Tution fee for uttarakhand residents is=25, 900/- per semester Admission fee one time=7, 500/- University enrollment fee one time =1, 000/- Security fee refundable on completion of program=10, 000/- University examination fee=5, 000/- Vaccination chargee if applicable=1, 500/- University supplementary examination fee per course , if applicable=1, 000/- Convocation fee charged in final year=2, 000/- Alumni fee charged with final year=1, 000/- Hostel fee per year =42, 000/- Scholarship for defense student and for students who have scored 80% or more in 12th standard is also present.

- Really nice group of teachers highly educated and they are very helpful
- The campus is really nice a lot of facilities are provided
Dislikes
- A little hectic schedule it is a little tiring
- Very strict rules are needed to be followed
Fees and Financial Aid:
So the fees for one year is 2 lakhs and there are scholarships for students of Uttarakhand as it is a university in Uttarakhand if student is able to crack the entrance exam as I did then about 200000 of your whole fees will be reduced one more scholarship that they offer is if you score more than a 8 cgpa so in total there are 2 scholarships

- Large campus With nature, beauty, and parks
- Behaviour of security and staff are also good
Dislikes
- Air conditioner are not available in classes
- Cars are not allowed in main building and park in 500 m backward in parking
Fees and Financial Aid:
Good college and Fees are affordable, do not higher. It's all about average, so BBA are under 2.20 laks On Uttarakhand seat and normal fee structure of BBA is three lakh all over course, and some scholarships for SC and ST , And other government Scholarship programmes are acceptable .

- the campus is green and beautiful , with all the facilities inside including gym, parlor , tailor, grocery even an sbi brach in campus and post office
- they provide 50 percent discount to all the clinical test for their students in their hospital
Fees and Financial Aid:
the fee is quite reasonable according to the service and quality of labs that college provides us with. there are two categories -; all india category and uttarakhand residential category there is 26 percent discount for people having uttarakhand domicile. total fee when I was in the college was 2.5 lakhs

The fee structure of bsc nursing is about 1. 5 lakh without a hostel. The fee structure for a hosteller is around 1. 60 approx for the first year The university also provides scholarships to students and Uttarakhand residents.
