Honestly I don't like anything here except the cultural things here it feels like a school

Dislikes

This college feels like a school for a leave there will be big process

Internships Opportunities:

I don't know about the internships clearly here but the final years are good in internship here I'm not detailed about it but I'm not sure the internships are good here but heard no complaints from the seniors here

Girls to boys ratio is 150:100 respectively
Positive things would be infrastructure and security

Dislikes

Negitive things would be ther is no support for the students from the management at all
And exam fees are too high and even the re evaluation fees are very high
If you fail in a subject twice you have to re write the subject the next year according to new NMC rules and in my college you have to pay exyra 1 lakh per subject if you fail twice

Internships Opportunities:

After completing your mbbs cource which is 4 and half years you would start your interniship which is 1 year duration and you would rotate to all the departments and internship is very good in our college i mean they make you work very hard and it helps you tooo

Internships Opportunities:

This college gives a great and wide opportunities on doing the internship. The college also gives the students on their own choice to do the internship in their own hometown with proper verifications.

Review of chettinad

Likes

In 1st year they provide ac class rooms.
They has own Hospital facilities for clinical postings
Has anatomy lab and physiology lab to exposeure

Dislikes

Different Fees structure for students based upon the scholarship
After 1st year they provide non AC class rooms which is smaller in size wit low quality chairs.
And they collect amount often for many things which is not included in feese

Internships Opportunities:

Our college has own hospitals it is usefull for us to improve our experience and skills.our college tie-up with more hospitals and physiotherapy clinics for our clinicals and internship.they has high quality physiotherapy equipments for students training

An Honest review of MBBS at Chettinad Academy of Research and Education

Likes

The college campus is very clean and green. There is a serious fine on littering henceforth students are more conscious about littering here and there. Add trees and plants along every footpath, it makes the campus very breathtaking.
The campus contains cycles to travel quick and fast inside, usually from main college building to the hostel and back.
The faculty is very approachable and they make sure to appear approachable too. There is no need to be afraid to reach out to the faculty, including the HODs.

Dislikes

The fees are very high, but for a medical college its understandable.
Hostels are pretty sub-par, they are still working on improving it.
The college food court is not big enough to accompany the students properly during the lunch breaks.

Internships Opportunities:

The college provides a mandatory internship program during the last year of the course, it has a stipend of around 8 to 10 thousand rupees a month. The internship process is done in order to make you get used to the the clinical side.

Why should you choose Chettinad College

Likes

The infrastructure, it's so damm cool like it's like a mini forest it has lots like a lotttt of trees once you enter it's like a forest
The campus life is also cool like during oct - nov fest will be conducted for a whole week that so damm cool it's called , CHET - FEST, it's the best
The main attraction of. College is food court. I mean that's the place you are obviously gonna spend more time in your college life than class room and the canteen here looks like a mini mall .

Dislikes

The college timings is really really irritates me. It's like college starts atb7:30 in the morning to 3pm
Very less holiday, you won't get that many holidays even it's public holiday, forget it once you are here . forget them:(
The hostel, i won't say it's bad. The food is amazing but it's just the fee is a bit high

Internships Opportunities:

Intership startes once you finish 4th year. You are either enroll in the same campus hospital which offers a basic package of 3L .or you are either choose for other hospitals.like Apollo, Global, Medanta etc ..

Psych Insight to Chettinad World

The course curriculum covers a wide variety of psychology area. If you check the subjects that you are going to deal in your ug, you would be able to see that these three years would have detailed courses with practical opportunities
As the subjects hold a great value here, so if you have plan to study abroad. Our college subjects and courses are widely accepted in abroad colleges due to its detailed curriculum
The max structure for our course is 20. So our teacher's can focus on every student

Dislikes

Internships are provided but as our college did introduced the subject that year for ug no placement opportunities were provided. But with coming year, I hope that this area would also get improved

Internships Opportunities:

Our college is a hospital based so we have a psychiatric ward there. So our first internship is placed there. Other than that, they do take us to NIEPMD. so we did had that exposure, but in the upcoming years, they have improved the internship facilities

They help us to go to 15 days internship in each place and we will able to learn difference and we have ghe capable to choose what we want.

Atmosphere with green zoned and fresh air
It includes all kinds of extracurricular activities
They good discipline around the campus within the students

Dislikes

Phones are not allowed inside the college
Strict gate policy , without identity card you can't enter the collage
Full day collage for all the course including law

Internships Opportunities:

There is an internship for each semester from 2 semesters for all the law courses. The department will arrange the internship but you can also go for an internship on your own. Every internship should contain a certificate and internship dairy regarding the internship.

best faculties for each subject and minimum class strength
afforadble fees and scholorships based on merit %

Dislikes

lack of practials and lack of faculty members
there is large bias and partiality between MBBS and other courses
very strict management and they wont allow phone inside

Internships Opportunities:

Internships are allowed both inside and outside the campus .internship duration is 6 months, and a month in various departments and outside internship opportunities in various hospitals and clinics based on the course of interest.
