Uttarakhand University of Horticulture & Forestry is a prominent university in the state of Uttarakhand that aims to concentrate on the various aspects of forestry and horticulture. Started in 2011, it offers several courses at various levels that are in line with this aim.

The selection process to the Institute is done on the basis of merit. Uttarakhand University of Horticulture & Forestry conducts its own entrance examination, and may include in its criteria a pre-requisite in terms of academic marks at the qualifying level.

Admission is confirmed only after completing all required processes, including document verification and payment of required fee amount.

The Institute offers B.Sc course in multiple subjects and candidates wishing to apply to these courses may do so through the official university website or in person at the institute, after the release of the official notification from the university.

Admission to the under graduate courses at the Uttarakhan University of Horticulture and Forestry is done purely on the basis of merit.

An entrance examination is conducted by the University during the second week of July.
Based on the performance in this examination, a merit list is prepared and selected candidates will be intimated about further details by the University.
Selection may also be subject to performance in an interview conducted at the discretion of the University.

The basic requirement for eligibility is a pass at the 10+2 level from a recognized board, with Agriculture as a subject, or with Mathematics and Biology having being studied as part of the Science stream. For Foreign candidates, admission may be granted on the basis of an interview, without having to appear for the entrance examination.

The Institute offers a number of postgraduate courses, and candidates wishing to apply to these courses may do so through the official university website or in person at the institute, after the release of the official notification from the university.

Admission to the post graduate courses is done purely on the basis of merit.

An entrance examination is conducted by the University during the second week of July.
Based on the performance in this examination, a merit list is prepared and selected candidates will be intimated about further details by the University.
Selection may also be subject to performance in an interview conducted at the discretion of the University.
The entrance examination is offered for various disciplines, demarcated by the designated course code.
Reservation / sponsored seats is in accordance with Government and UGC regulations.

The minimum eligibility for the Master’s programmes at this University is a pass at the undergraduate level in a relevant discipline from a recognized University in the country. Foreign candidates need not appear for the entrance examination, as their admission will be provided on the basis of their performance in an interview.

Uttarakhand University of Horticulture & Forestry Application Process 2024

Candidates seeking admission can register themselves by following the below given steps:.

Candidate should send request for the application form to be posted to your address, by submitting via post a DD for Rs.450/- drawn in favour of Coordinator Admissions, UUHF payable at Punjab National Bank, New Tehri.
On receiving the application form, fill in all required details in the form, and verify thoroughly before going for submission.
Stick a recent, attested photograph that fits the specifications in the given space.
The fee amount of Rs.1000/- for the entrance examination must be paid via DD and submitted along with the completed application form.
Alternatively, the form can be bought and submitted at the college office itself, for a fee of Rs. 350, and then the additional Rs. 1000 examination fee.

Reality of a govt college

Admission:

One can find application forms, application fees and application dates on website vcsg.uuhf.org The exam difficulty level is easy to moderate and timing is 3 hours moreover around 200 questions are there.

Good highlight is it's nature . The wonderfull and beautifully nature of our campus secondly SNOWFALL in month of JANUARY and FEBRUARY. If you haven't seen snowfall so we welcome you. Secondly here faculty are awesome and intelligent that I can't tell you.
