Uttaranchal Ayurvedic College Dehradun Review

I like the environment of the college. It is ragging-free campus and in any case of ragging students can complain to the Principal. The Senior and Junior interaction is very good and we can ask any doubt to our teachers.
The natural beauty around the campus is very aesthetic and the availability of medicinal herbs around our campus makes our ayurvedic learning very easy
Teachers support us in any kind of research works.

Dislikes

The infrastructure of this college is very old .
I don't like the strict rules of this college .
Lss patient flow and no placement guarantee.

Admission:

I choose this college over the other colleges because of its location which is aesthetic and the affordable fee structure and the availability of the teachers which was not in the colleges which I rejected. I applied for the Patanjali College but I was not choosen due to my low marks in NEET exam it only selects students having marks more than 500 then I applied for Himalaya Ayurvedic College but I rejected this due to its location in the forest region and no availablity of market and transport but these two main things are available in Uttaranchal Ayurvedic College.

Likes

Faculties, especially 2nd year teachers .
Library, which preserved the ancient texts
Campus, large campus with beautiful scenary like view

Dislikes

College politics, leg pulling can be seen all over
Canteen, very bad canteen under tin shed
Delaying of every exams with politics in every prof

Admission is done by Counselling process after clearing the NEET Exam conducted by NTA. According to the merit list which is based on NEET Marks. Cutoff of exam is change every year accordingly the result of NEET exam... Two type of Counselling is done for addmission All india quota counselling & State Counselling

Main campus college and their life

Likes

Campus is very big more then any govt or private ayurvedic colleges and ground is good most of the building are constructed except auditorium herbal garden is big and good.
Hospital is good OPD count is also good teacher were good to students and focus more on development not only teaching and the exposure around college is good not far from city
Dehradun wheather is soo good in all seasons.college is not far from city transport is easily accessible the mountain ranges from college is fantastic views. Don't have any restriction around college or the building far better thenRishikul & gurukul

Dislikes

Lab are very bad there is no lab boy or labs are soo bad and the university doesn't provide much of instruments or tool for lab
Cadever is not available and staff is mostly fired due to false recruitment and the 4 class worker is very less
University and the registrar is not very supportive towards the students and does not provide the college requirement exam conducted very late due to absent of staff exam result is also delayed very often

Admission:

I want to take addmission in NIA jaipur because the NIA is a Central University and the facilities of NIA is more far better then our college but to take addmission in NIA you neet rank need under then 40 k but neet rank was 50 k and I didnt get the admission in NIA To get in any ayurvedic College you have to qualify neet and to get addmission in the ayurvedic College like NIA your neet rank must under 40 k and to take addmission in your college your neek rank must be under 50 k

My Experience Of Ayurveda At Uttrakhand Ayurvedic University

I think the academics part is very good faculties are also from different different places that National Institute so there is no worry about understanding the concepts
they the conduct various seminars and workshops which keep the exposure about ayurveda and is very helpful as a medical student to improve your skills
there is monthly or yearly inspection from ncism so the colleges have to maintain at least their academic part well so the ST

Dislikes

University is very less responsive of any complaint or any other situation even if a student is suffering severely like for example I when I had a back in my second year examination I gave the university 1000 rupees for getting the photocopy of my an
there is very less practical exposure except for two three colleges and the university don't care about those colleges who don't give get the exposure
you have to be your own self University don't care about placements doesn't care about your future doesn't care about ayurveda and the teachers also excluding some teachers they don't care about the students

Admission:

I really wanted to do MBBS but when I did the Ayurveda counselling I thought that I would apply for Patanjali because it is one of the best colleges for BAMS but also the competition was very high which I did not expected and I was very very disappointed in myself that I did not get Patanjali but I have quadran Institute of Ayurveda which is very very similar to Patanjali because there are many faculties which have came from Patanjali to our college and also have showed a dark side of Patanjali to US and also has said that Ayurveda is not about Patanjali contributes in promoting Ayurveda but Ayurveda as a whole is not Patanjali so that was very I opening for us

Only applied for mbbs course due to oess no. Not get govt mbbs seat No i didn't rejected fron other colleges except mbbs NEET is the only exam to get into my college and cut off is around 480 no. In All india quota Normal admission experience

Likes

Faculty is really good very much qualified from good universities
Loved how every student was treated equally by teachers
Loved their kind & compassionate approach of teachinv things

Dislikes

Fee structure is too much as compared to other facilities
As a medical student they couldn’t provide us even with a body for anatomy lab
They used to ask for fee of next year in advance

Admission:

When I took admission into this college, it was a newly opened college, and someone suggested to me that the board member is really good and they're trying really hard to make it a good one.
