Each mid-term test is scored out of 50, requiring a minimum of 25 to pass. The main exam includes a 70-mark theory section, which requires a passing mark of 75, and a 30-mark practical component. Placement opportunities are abundant, especially with well-regarded hospitals, and are open to students in their third and final year.
The tuition fee is Rs. 74,000 annually, with additional costs such as a Rs. 5,400 registration fee and a Rs. 10,000 admission fee. For students in the ST/SC categories, a reduced fee of Rs. 20,000 is available. Merit-based scholarships are offered with a 90% tuition fee waiver. Students who have lost both parents or their father can avail of a 50% tuition fee waiver.
