  • Master's degree in Political Science, International Relations, Public Administration, or a related field from a recognised Indian or Foreign University with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent CGPA; OR a four-year Bachelor's degree in the relevant field with a minimum of 75% marks or equivalent CGPA (direct admission in Full Time mode only).
  • SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer)/Differently-Abled/EWS candidates are eligible for a 5% relaxation in the minimum marks requirement as per UGC Regulations 2022.
  • Candidates with CA (ICAI), CWA (ICWAI), or CS (ICSI) qualifications with a minimum of 55% marks may also be considered eligible for Ph.D. in the relevant field.

  • Apply online at www.amity.edu/phd by the last date; upload all required documents including PG marksheets, photograph, and a Preliminary Research Idea (max 1,000 words).
  • Pay the application fee of Rs. 1,500 online via Credit/Debit card.
  • Shortlisted candidates will be assigned a PET date; check the Admission Microsite for updates (no separate communication is sent).
  • Appear for APET (100 MCQs, 90 minutes, no negative marking) - Section 1: General Aptitude (50 marks), Section 2: Political Science Subject-Specific (50 marks). Candidates with valid UGC-NET/CSIR-NET/GATE scores in the relevant field are exempted from APET.
