Amity Noida BBA {Hons.} (Banking and Financial Service) FAQs
Ques. What is the difference between BBA (BFSI) 3-year and BBA {Hons.} (Banking and Financial Service) 4-year at Amity Noida?
Ans. The 3-year BBA (BFSI) is a standard undergraduate programme, while the 4-year BBA {Hons.} includes additional Honours-level coursework and a Major Project/Dissertation in the final semester. The Honours programme also includes a Summer Project in Semester 7, giving students two rounds of industry exposure. The fee structure is the same (Rs. 1.31 Lakhs per semester for non-sponsored), but the 4-year programme costs more overall due to the additional year. The Honours degree is generally preferred by students planning to pursue research or top MBA programmes.
Ques. Does the BBA {Hons.} (Banking and Financial Service) degree have better career prospects than the 3-year BBA?
Ans. The Honours degree is generally viewed more favourably by employers and postgraduate institutions due to its research component and longer duration. Graduates are well-positioned for roles in banking, insurance, fintech, mutual funds, and stock markets. Many students use this as a stepping stone to pursue an MBA in Finance, CFA, or other professional qualifications. However, the core curriculum for the first 6 semesters is largely the same as the 3-year BBA (BFSI).
Ques. What is the research component in the BBA {Hons.} programme?
Ans. In Semester 7, students undertake a Summer Project, and in Semester 8, they complete a Major Project/Dissertation. These research components allow students to investigate real-world problems in banking, insurance, or financial services under faculty guidance. This is a significant differentiator from the 3-year BBA and is valued by employers and postgraduate institutions.
Ques. Does Amity Noida accept CUET scores for BBA {Hons.} (Banking and Financial Service) admission?

Students with strong CUET scores (90 percentile and above in each section) along with 85%+ in Class XII (CBSE/ISC) can avail a 100% scholarship on academic fees for the first year.
Ques. What advanced subjects are covered in the 3rd and 4th year of this programme?
Ans. In the 4th year (Semesters 7 and 8), advanced topics include Cyber Risk Insurance, Emerging Technologies in the Financial Sector, Trade Finance, Compliance and Risk Management in Banks, Advanced Investment Management with Tax Planning, and Marketing Skills for Selling Insurance Products.
