Sanjay Ghodawat University is a state private University established in 2017. The University offers UG, PG and PhD programs in Technology, Management, Commerce, Science, Liberal Arts, Architecture, Pharmacy and Computer Applications. Candidates can take admission in B.E, M.E and MBA courses at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
- B.E, M.E and MBA admissions are done through Centralized Admission Process (CAP) conducted by DTE, Maharashtra.
- Lateral Entry (direct second year) admissions are also granted through CAP.
- The candidates looking for B.E admission must have passed class 10+2 examination in Science stream and should have appeared in MHT-CET or JEE Main.
- The candidates seeking admissions in the M.E course must have a B.E/B.Tech degree in the relevant discipline along with a valid GATE score.
- MBA aspirants have to apply on the basis of MAH CET score or other valid National Level Management entrance test scores.
- Final admission to any course offered by the institute will be offered as per the schedule and rules of DTE, Maharashtra.

SGU B.E Admission 2024
Sanjay Ghodawat University offers B.E in five specializations. B.E aspirants must have a valid MHT-CET or JEE Main scores. Lateral Entry admissions are also offered by the institute on the basis of merit of the qualifying examination. There are total 420 seats are available for B.E course and 264 seats for second-year admissions. Final admission is granted on the basis of CAP rounds.
Candidates must pass HSC or its equivalent examination and with at least 50% marks. For reserved categories, minimum 45% marks in aggregate are required. They must have Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects with one of the five Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Technical/Vocational subjects as optional subjects.
Those candidates who have Diploma in Engineering/Technology or B.Sc. Degree from a UGC recognized and have studied Mathematics as a subject in class 12 are also eligible to apply for B.E program.

Key Points:
- Maharashtra state candidature have to apply through MHT-CET score and All India and J&K candidates can apply on the basis of JEE Main paper I score.
- For Lateral Entry admissions, the candidates must have passed Diploma in Engineering or Technology in the relevant branch or B.Sc degree with Mathematics as the main subject in class 10.
- General category candidates need to secure at least 45% marks and reserved categories require minimum 40% marks (provided candidates have cleared subjects of Engineering Mechanics and Engineering Drawing or Engineering Graphics in the first year of engineering).
SGU M.E Admission 2024
It offers M.E in three specializations. Admissions are granted through CAP where candidates have to choose SSGMCE during option entry phase and report to the institute after final allotment within the given time period. Merit list is prepared based on candidates’ scores in GATE.
Those who wish to apply for the M.E course must have completed their four-year graduation degree in Engineering or Technology in a relevant branch. The candidates must have scored minimum 50% (45% for reserved categories) marks in graduation degree.

Key Points:
- Sponsored candidates must have two years of full-time work experience from a registered firm/ company/industry/ educational and/ or research institute/ Government Department or Autonomous Organization in a relevant field.

SGU MBA Admission 2024
The institute offers MBA program with a total intake of 60 seats. Maharashtra candidature candidates need to have MAH CET MBA score while All India candidature candidates can apply through any of the valid test scores such as CAT/XAT/CMAT/XAT or GMAT.
Aspirants need to have passed Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with minimum 50% marks in aggregate. 5% relaxation is given to reserved categories belonging to Maharashtra only.

SGU Application Process 2024
DTE, Maharashtra has released online application form for all the courses on its official website. Candidates must register online to take part in CAP to complete the admission process and keep visiting the website for regular updates.
Eligible candidates are required to pay the counselling fees in online mode via Debit Card/Credit or Net Banking.
