Aspirants seeking admission to the Program should meet the following criteria as.

Academic Requirement:

Candidates with minimum 55% marks at both UG & PG level with a valid (eligible) UGC- NET (including JRF) score along with a consistently good academic record will be eligible to apply.
5% relaxation shall be offered to candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC Category of Uttarakhand.
The University may exempt the requirement of qualifying the UGC-NET examination for candidates with rich industry experience with the approval of the Board of Management of the University. Such a candidate will be required to fulfil other eligibility norms and pass the University entrance test conducted for Ph.D.
