SC/ST/PwD need 60 percent or OGPA 6.0. The undergraduate B.Sc must be a four-year programme. Minimum age: 23 years.

Candidates must appear in UBKV’s own Ph.D entrance MCQ examination, 60 questions (60 minutes) covering M.Sc-level syllabus of Post-harvest Technology per ICAR standards. Qualifying mark: 35 percent (general/OBC), 30 percent (SC/ST). NET/ICAR JRF holders receive an additional 5-mark weightage.
