Uttaranchal University Scholarship for Wards of Defence Personnel
Uttaranchal University Scholarship for the Wards of Defence Personnel provides a 5% scholarship for the ward of Defence Personnel (including Para Military viz ITBF, CRPF, etc.) for the entire academic session. To yield the advantages of these scholarships candidate must carry a valid certificate of father/mother at the time of admission. In the Case of Serving Defence Personnel
- Servicemen I-card is mandatory
- ID card along with the Adhar card of the student is necessary
- A dependent’s card issued to the servicemen or a certificate issued by the unit head or C.O. of the servicemen is compulsory.
In the Case of Retired Defence Personnel
- Servicemen I-card is mandatory
- ID card along with the Adhar card of the student is necessary
- A discharge certificate of the serviceman is required.
In the Case of a Deceased Defence Personnel in Combat
- A dependent’s card issued to the servicemen or a certificate issued by the unit head or C.O. of the servicemen is compulsory.

Uttaranchal University Scholarship to the Alumni provides a 10% scholarship on net tuition fees to the alumni for the first year only. The following documents should be present in hand at the time of admission to avail Uttaranchal University Scholarship to the Alumni:
- Aadhaar Card or a valid photo Id Proof of the student having the name of the parent.
- Marksheet or certificate (10 onwards) issued to the siblings having the name of the parents.
Uttaranchal University Scholarship for Sibling
Uttaranchal University Scholarship to the Sibling provides a 10% scholarship on net tuition fees to the sibling for the first year only. The following documents should be present in hand at the time of admission to avail Uttaranchal University Scholarship to the Sibling.
- Aadhaar Card or a valid photo Id Proof of the student having the name of the parent.
- Marksheet or certificate (10 onwards) issued to the siblings having the name of the parents.
Uttaranchal University Management Scholarship
Uttaranchal University Management Scholarship avails only for poverty-stricken and underprivileged students.

Uttaranchal University Scholarship Guidelines
The general conditions to be followed before applying to any of the scholarships mentioned above are as follows:
- A candidate is only eligible to avail of only one out of the scholarships as mentioned earlier.
- Candidates are given a choice to choose the best and the higher scholarship which seems beneficial to them at the time of admission
- Changing and interchanging of the scholarships in the future is highly prohibited.
- The scholarship will be applied to net tuition fees for the scholarships like Sushila Devi Scholarship for Girls, Scholarship for the Wards of Defence Personnel, Scholarship to the Alumni and Scholarship to the Sibling.
- An affirmation duly signed by parents/legal guardians accepting the conditions laid in the offer of scholarships should be submitted by the eligible students.
- The university will offer scholarships to only those candidates whose documents are genuine and not forged. Moreover, the university also has a right to recover actual fees and take administrative action against the candidate after cross-checking with the management team in case of false information.
