Uttaranchal University Dehradun Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

I have applied for several universities to pursue B.Tech in Civil Engineering and at first I got a seat in Uttaranchal University on the basis of my JEE score. So I chose this university. The admission process is very easy and it is maily easy for the average students like me becuase it is based on the marks of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics of 10+2 level and also on the basis of JEE exam score.

I wanted to join a University in my hometown with good infrastructure and facilities. Hence I visited various University Campus and then finally decided to join Uttaranchal University because of its modern infrastructure, great facilities like central library, playground, etc.

Any one can get admission who have above 45% marks in pcm they just have to give admission and there was no limit of seats if 300 student come for admission in single heanch they will give and others will remain empty. There is no procedure to give admission you go submit admission fees and semester fees and you get admission. First they will say only limited seats are remaining you have to do this that but internally you got admission when you entered college. They will even say this is last date of admission but as i said you can get admission even in September. And there is no fix batch limit any number of students can take admission.

A very good college Which gives us a lots of knowledge and information. All faculty members are nice to talk with and all the seniors are kind and pleasant for all. Im very lucky to get a chance to study there.

The fee structure is feasible as compared to other institutes Hostel facilities are good but Hostel food is very bad you'll really regret for it. Placements are not upto the mark. Faculty members are really supportive and helpful.

The hostel facilities can be better. Like they can provide students a common room to chill and play some indoor games such as carrom, ludo, table tennis etc. A tv in common room to get update by the world.

I got admission in uttaranchal University by my her mains marks in 2014. You can also get admission to this collegeon the basis of your 10th 12th marks. Minimum you have 60 percent marks in 10th and in 12th.

Overall it is just wastage of money of you take admission here as everyone knows what is going on but they close there eyes and pretend that nothing happened and in the end they blame the students that they are not worthy.

I think if you are looking for the law or something like that you definitely should be considered this university but as you go for the b.tech you should consider other colleges too because the main region is placement, aa placement is not so good but yes if you have the knowledge you can get job easily.

The good remark is that they have good infrastructure and cleanliness is also good. The bad remark is that the faculty is not very good.
