Shobhit University Meerut Course Admission 2025: Dates, Fees, Eligibility, Application Process, Selection Criteria

At the Doctoral level, the university offers M.Phil for the duration of one year and Ph.D. program for the duration of three years in various specializations. Master’s degree with at least 50% marks in aggregate is the minimum eligibility criteria.

Applicants who have a valid score in JRF/NET (UGC/CSIR), GATE, GPAT or SLET are exempted from the Entrance Test conducted by the university.

Candidates who are Teacher Fellowship Holders/ direct awardees of fellowship by DST (INSPIRE), ICMR or any other National Agency are also exempted from the entrance test.

If M.Phil. student wants to take admission to Ph.D. program after passing M.Phil examination. He / she will be exempted from the Entrance Test, but they have to appear for the Interview round.

Shobhit University M.Phil & Ph.D. Application Process 2021

The application form can be filled online or offline by following the below-listed steps:

Online Application:                                              

1. Visit the official website of the university and fill the application form.
2. Pay the application fee of INR 2100 by Credit/ Debit Card or through Net-Banking.
3. Save and submit the application form for further admission requirements.

Offline Application:

1. Download the application form from the official website of the university.
2. Pay the application fee of INR 2100 in the form of DD drawn in favour of “Shobhit University” payable at Meerut/ “Shobhit University” payable at Gangoh’.
3. Send the duly filled application form along with one recent colour photograph and photocopies of all marks sheets and certificates to:

At the UG level, Shobhit University offers B.Tech program in various specializations. The duration of the program is four years. The University also accepts direct admission under Lateral entry scheme for the duration of three years.

Candidates appeared in 10+2 board examination with Science and Mathematics from any recognized university or equivalent, will be considered eligible for B.Tech program. To accomplish the eligibility of B.Tech Lateral entry, the candidates need to hold a Polytechnic Diploma in a relevant discipline.

Candidates seeking admission in B.Tech program in Shobhit University will be selected on basis of marks obtained by the candidates in JEE Main or SUNET.

SUNET Details: As SUNET is an online entrance test conducted by Shobhit University, students are advised to go through the below-mentioned information, in order to avoid any discrepancy at the time of test:

• Candidates are required to remember their assigned User ID and Password at the time of online exam (SUNET).
• Candidates are needed to pay an application fee of INR 1,100 after which the university will send the confirmation information to the ATTEST centers. This, in turn, will activate the Online Examination Booking System (OEBS) for the applicant. Once this is activated, the candidate can book his/her exam date, time, and exam center from the available options given in Online Examination Booking System (OEBS).
• Candidates will be able to generate their admit card containing the relevant data for Examination after booking the exam schedule successfully.
• Candidates must carry two copies of the hall ticket to the examination center with the recent passport size photograph pasted on it.

M.Pharm program is of two years whereas B.Pharm program takes four years to complete. Students must have passed 10+2 with PCM in order to be eligible for the B.Pharm program. M.Pharm program requires B.Pharm degree.

Candidates seeking admission in B.Pharm and M.Pharm program at Shobhit University will be selected according to the qualifying marks obtained by the candidates. Shortlisted candidates will be required to undergo the counselling procedure for final admission.

Shobhit University offers various UG courses in different specializations. Final admission to these courses are done through a centralized admission process carried out by the university post the results of SUNET. Shortlisted candidates will be called for further counselling process after the declaration of SUNET result.

BAMS & BNYS admission is based on the marks in NEET UG conducted at the All India level.

Key Points:

• All the UG qualifying exam results will be announced in the month of May. Counselling for the UG programs will be conducted from the first week of June to the first week of July.
• For BA-LL.B & BBA-LL.B courses, the candidates with 60% marks in 10+2 are eligible for direct admission.

Documents required at the time of Counselling: The candidates need to submit the following documents at the time of admission:

1. The marks sheet and certificate of 10+2 & 10^th from a recognized board.
2. For the B.Ed. program, graduation or master’s certificate and marks sheet.
3. The 10+3 Diploma in Engineering certificate

Shobhit University offers various PG courses such as M.Ed., M.Sc, M.Com, MBA, MCA  in various specializations,

Admission for all the courses except for M.Sc. (Biotechnology), M.Tech, MBA is done on the basis of merit list. The students need to appear for SUNET in order to secure admission in these PG courses.

Apart from SUSET, preference will be given to candidates with valid score in GATE & CAT for M.Tech & MBA programs respectively. The minimum percentage required for M.Ed. is 50% (in B.Ed. / B.T. / L.T) for general candidates, whereas it is 45% for SC/ST candidates.

The eligibility for Foreign/NRI/NRI sponsored candidates for M.Ed. is a minimum aggregate of 55% (in B.Ed. / B.T. / L.T). Such students do not have to appear for any aptitude test.

Key Point: Graduates from an authorized university only can apply for any of the PG level courses. Although students appearing in the final year of degree examination may also apply. They shall be admitted provisionally till the declaration of final year's result.
