I choose BBD and i got chance to make my dream real and i very much get success in that i never been get rejected from college and i never applied to any other college ,at my time cutoff was 90 % but due to 10% of reservation in general category

A eye opening review of my collage

Likes

I like my college faculty members which is punctual and also tries to maintain punctuality
Security of my collage if very good no any type of negative moment can be seen inside the campus
I also like the infrastructure of my collage which is outstanding

Dislikes

Firstly I don't like that my collage campus is soo big because we have to travel a lot
I don't like the courses which is provided by my collage
I don't like that there is no any valid price canteen

The Good and the Bad about BBD University by a second year student

Likes

the college infrastructure,teachers are friendly(except one or two),canteen available,a separate cricket badminton basketball volleyball and tennis grounds,proper parking space
clean ro water available,lift facility is there
ragging free campus atleast as a day student i did not experienced any ragging friendly seniors

Dislikes

teachers are helpful but are not highly qualified many of them have done masters but have no knowledge of the subjects
very few one or two labs have outdated softwares in their systems
poor placement and coding culture is nil.seniors are mostly bunking classes and give no ideas or roadmap for study related topics

Admission:

My story is that I was giving NEET exam and I took a 3rd drop in which I scored 6:37. But could not get an MBBS College. I was short of around 11 to 12 marks. So I decided to pursue BCA. And by the time my neat result was announced, many BCA colleges. Outside of my hometown, Lucknow were already full. Or they were. Very pricey and costly. So I thought that should I should do my BCA in my hometown and I was looking for colleges. So I shortlisted two colleges that is Amity University and BBD University. And due to my good grades in 12th and 10th I got admission. In both but the Amity university was not giving me any scholarship and it costed me almost double the amount as BBD University. So I took the. Admission in BBD University. And the rest of the colleges were also good, but from. My relatives who are studying in other colleges, they gave me very negative reviews. And so I talked to the seniors. Of the respective colleges and I heard that BBD is a decent college, but don't expect any placement from BCA course. So I thought that for a graduation. I will stay with BBD. And I can pursue more things after doing BCA a job or any other exam.

The Crispy Reality of BBDU Lucknow

Campus structure is very excellent. Having proper classes and labs with the cleaned washroom
I like the support from the faculty they provide to students . The campus is free from ragging.
I like the the fest culture of my college like cultural, sports, college events and many tech events be it in robotics or any hacathon.

Dislikes

I personally think that, classes should have AC facility, coz with the range of 60 students it became very suffocated and hard to attain lecture.
There is a shortage of computer lab and no faculty perform the practical session.
Faculty only give theoretical knowledge, zero practical knowledge which results in decline in placement.

Admission:

I chose Babu Banarasi Das University (BBDU) over the other colleges I was considering because it offered a good balance of infrastructure, faculty support, and specialization opportunities. I wanted to pursue Computer Science with a specialization in Artificial Intelligence, and BBDU provided this track along with hands-on learning, good labs, and project-based curriculum. Compared to other colleges like Goel and Ramswaroop I found that BBDU had better campus facilities, a strong peer group, and more collaboration opportunities through hackathons, clubs, and industry tie-ups. The college also offers regular workshops and guest lectures that helped me connect with real-world applications early on. Also, location-wise, being in Lucknow was a plus for me because it gave me access to both urban exposure and being closer to home.” “I had also applied to colleges like Galgotia Noida ,Amity Noida , and KCC Institute but I couldn’t get into them mainly because of limited seats and high competition in their entrance exams. While my academic scores were good, I feel my preparation for the entrance test could’ve been more focused. However, I believe everything happens for a reason. Studying at BBDU has given me access to practical learning, active student communities, and a curriculum that supports self-initiated projects — like my recent work on AI and plant disease detection. So while I initially had other colleges in mind, I’m now happy with the opportunities I’ve found here

The atmosphere of the college is the best in uttar pradesh

Sometimes the patient flow decrease and lack of handson
Sometimes the labs are not having enough instruments

I liked infrastructure of whole bbd and stadium i liked the most
Their hostel rooms are also cleaned everyday after every 2 hours

Dislikes

They have not provided a single ac in any of the classroom except labs and library

Admission:

I have cracked other Colleges entrance exams like kiit,iilm and psit but there fees were put of my range so i chose bbd. Ihave applied for counseling in aktu for Bbd but they were taking lot of time to give results so i chose bbdu.

Likes

College infrastructure is so good . Classrooms, labs and library are well maintained.
All coordinators and teaching staff are friendly with their students.
It provide placement and internship opportunity.

Dislikes

I applied for galgotias university and chandigarh University but according to me this college is far better than those if students are coming from other states or district. This college is fully active for anti ragging and this college doesn't allow any kind of discrimination. Also this college provides a lot of events. As compared to all other colleges in lucknow, bbd University exam level is average than others, students can easily pass the exam if he studied average. Admission process is very easy in this college; Student have to go in admission cell , have to fill the form and submit the required documents such as original 10th and 12th marksheet. They they have to wait for their registration, then after registration fees submission will occur then they get their admission in their chosen course.

There are lots to things which liked a lot related to my studies and course obviously,the teachers were supportive and management was friendly in terms of study but if students had issues with management or any other they just don't help or entertain
Teachers availablity and doubts resolution facility was decent as there were teachers (extra) to help you related to subjects
There use to happen few events at that time in the college like fest and all which nourish students hidden potential and other talents

Dislikes

There is lot more things which I personally didn't liked at all the one incident was it's parking they charge money to park your vehicle but there is no to care about it as In if you face any damage to your vehicle it's your responsibility not them
If you have any issues related to management no one gone entertain whether it's related to results sections or getting your certificates back their process was too messy
The fine system totally unethical and illogical as they used to charge unnecessary fines and not a fixed charges they use to do it as per their will or mood swings they used to charge excessive amount for late fee or something and was huge

Admission:

The reality is I just choose this college because of two reasons the one is distance and the other was my friends as they went to this college so did I. Admission process is not simple as well they involve necessary of hipe they take students to some cabin were some experts talk to you regarding your course. Admission process is simple one should have more than 60% marks in your boards that's the only criteria to get admission in it there no exams or counseling for University admissions.
