Prospective students at the University of Allahabad must apply in March and take an entrance exam in early May. Admission results are merit-based, with caste preferences, and enrollment begins in July. The faculty is highly qualified, featuring many with doctorates and authors of recommended textbooks, maintaining a student-to-faculty ratio of 50:1. The college is affordable, with B.Com fees ranging from 900 to 1600 INR for general students and 1200 INR for OBC, while B.Sc fees range from 1500 to 5500 INR. Examination fees are 500 INR yearly. Hostel costs range from 6000 to 8000 INR annually, including food, available for students scoring above 60% in entrance exams.

Notably, Monirba faculty excels in student placements, with the highest package at 300,000 INR annually, and around 50% securing jobs.
