Bachelor of Architecture provided by Aligarh Muslim University is a five-year program comprising 10 semesters.

AMU Engineering Entrance Exam

The test comprises two papers, i.e, Paper-I and Paper-II of equal weightage and the test duration is 3 hours.
Paper I consists of three sections with questions from Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics of the 12th level. At the same time, Paper II is the Architecture Aptitude Test which consists of descriptive questions and a Test of Drawing.
Paper I consists of 150 marks in total and each question carries 1 mark. There will be no negative marking for the wrong answer.
Candidates need to qualify for both papers to be eligible. However, diploma holders must obtain a minimum of 40% aggregate in Paper-II to become eligible for selection.

Aligarh Muslim University provides BArch course for a minimum duration of 5 years intending to teach students the essential management skills required today for meeting the challenges of the increasing demand in the construction industry and other commercial industries. Program Structure

Attendance: Candidates are required to maintain a minimum attendance of 70% in both theory and practical classes separately. Students whose attendance falls below 70% may not be allowed to appear for end term examinations.

Credits: BArch is a credit based course. The total credits assigned to the course are 240. Both 1st and 2nd semesters are assigned 27.5 credits separately whereas 3rd-6th semesters are assigned 26 credits separately. 7th and 8th semesters carry 25 credits each while the 9th semester carries 23 credits alone.
