As after completing my btech in electronics from delhi university and then working for 2 years i gave CAT and expected to get a good score to get admission in IIM kozhikhode, but i was not able to score the required percentile so i got admission in VELS management program. The reason for my choosing this college was its location that is in the capital of the city, ranking and accreditation by NBA, NAAC, NIRF, ARIIA, IRCLASS and MLIT as well as ranked 49 in south india among private B schools. The other reason was the placement achievement with more than 1000+ placement offers, 111+ multiple offers, 100 + company visits and the average salary. In the admission process i gave a scholarship test, then i checked my eligibility which was a degree with minimum 50 % from a recognised university and a valid CAT score then paying Rs 1000 as application fees and at the end paying fees and getting enrolled. I got to know about this college from an advertisement in a newspaper.

Remarks:

To enroll myself to this college, I checked the eligibility criteria and when I found myself eligible for this college, I filled the application form in March. While filling the form, I paid 1100 as application fee as well as all the details asked therein. Also, I filled my CAT score along with the previous academic details like marks obtained in 10th, 12th, and undergraduate. Further, based on my academic record, I got shortlisted for admission. Moreover, there are too many reasons which made me to take admission to this college .So, the first one is its ranking, and accreditation as my university ranked 50th in South India's Private Business School by Business World. In addition to this, it is accredited with Grade 'A' by NAAC and is recognised by UGC. Other than the ranking and recognition, it's placement rate is 100% and the course fee is just 1.5 lakhs which was accessible. So, as a result of these my facilities provided in our college, I enlisted in here.

Remarks:

VELS University is known as VISTAS located at Pallavaram,Chennai, TN. They conduct variety of courses. Easiness in getting an admission is the major attraction. They conduct management courses as well.VELS entrance also considered as an eligibility for MBA admission, which is easy compare to national level tests. So there is no extra edge to CAT/MAT/XAT score to get an admission. Candidates with Degree 50% aggregate marks can also seek admission for MBA if he qualifies the entrance test.Based on these criteria they prepare a merit cum short list and on verification of orginal documents give admission.5yrs integrated MBA programme also there for plus two students.University website gives detailed about the courses.

Remarks:

The reasons for which I took admission into this college was its placement rate and the eminent visitors that pay a visit to our campus every year and offer jobs with good CTC. Also, our university is accredited by NAAC with Grade 'A'. Further, it is approved by AICTE and ranked 49 in South India among private B-Schools by Business world,The academic structure is good and there are so many committees formed for different purposes and clubs for our exposure. And most importantly, the fee structure is 5 lakhs for two years which is too low as compared to other colleges. For admission, I met the counsellor, filled the application form in the month of April and made the payment of the application fee. Furthermore, based on the marks obtained in management entrance test i.e. CAT, I got shortlisted and was called for Personal Interview and lastly, I got into this University for pursuing MBA program.
