KAHE Coimbatore MCA Course Highlights
- KAHE Coimbatore offers a full-time 2-year Master of Computer Applications (MCA) in a regular mode.
- Students are required to complete the MCA course either in 4 semesters (minimum) or 8 semesters (maximum)
- The KAHE Coimbatore MCA course provides theoretical and practical knowledge to students on the various aspects of computer-related applications.
- The institute is approved by AICTE and UGC. It is also accredited by NAAC.

To get admission into the KAHE Coimbatore MCA program, students are required to fulfill the below-mentioned eligibility criteria:
- Must have passed 10+2 examination from a recognized board;
- Must have passed Bachelor’s Degree from the well-known university
- Must have a Mathematics subject in +2 or any degree in Maths/Business or Maths/Statistics.

- KAHE offers admissions to the MCA program on a merit-based basis, i.e. on the basis of students’ performance in the previous qualifying examination.
- Students are required to submit their applications online for their respective courses.
- Eligible students will get a call from the institute for admission.

- KAHE Coimbatore MCA program is based on a Choice-Based Credit System.
- It is offered for a duration of 2 years, i.e. 4 semesters.
- The curriculum of the MCA program is categorized into two parts i.e., 85% of core courses and 15% of elective courses and project work.
- A regular MCA student has to secure a total of 87 credits.

KAHE Coimbatore MCA Program Structure
- Attendance: More than 75% of attendance is required to appear in the End Semester Examination. Students who have less than 75% of attendance shall not be permitted to appear in the semester exam.
- Core Course: Students get theoretical and practical knowledge under the core course and they are required to give examinations at the end of the semester.
- Elective Course/Subjects: Students have to choose any of the subjects/elective courses from the list of elective courses mentioned in the curriculum.
- Project work: Students are required to work in the Department or in Industry, Institute, or any other Organization during the fourth semester. They have to prepare a project report of the same and submit it to the college.
- Internship: Students have to undergo an internship for the duration of 15 days at the end of the IInd semester.
