ICFAI University was established by the Sikkim State Government on January 27, 2005 in Gangtok. The university offers various undergraduate and postgraduate courses under the departments of Management Studies, Science & Technology and Law. ICFAI University, Sikkim has been approved by UGC whereas all the law courses are approved by Bar Council of India (BCI). It also runs various Distance Education Council approved correspondence courses.
- Candidates can submit applications for admissions online as well as offline.
- For UG courses, candidates must have appeared for Higher Secondary Examinations.
- For MBA, candidates must hold graduation degree in any stream.
- For all the UG and PG courses, except five-year integrated courses under school of law will be based on candidate’s academic performance and Personal Interview.

ICFAI University, Sikkim UG Admission 2024
At undergraduate level, the university offers Bachelor’s in Business Administration, Travel and Tourism Management, Commerce, Hospitality Management and Computer Applications. Candidates applying for UG courses must have passed class 12th with minimum 40% aggregate marks.
For BCA, the qualifying exam must be passed with Physics, Mathematics or Commerce as one of the major subjects. Candidates will be admitted to UG courses on the basis of Personal Interview for which candidates will be called only after consideration of their applications by the Admissions Committee of the respective departments.

ICFAI University, Sikkim Law Admission 2024
Under its School of Law, ICFAI University at its Gangtok campus offers three-year and five-year law courses. Admissions to three-year course (LLB) will be made on the basis of candidate’s academic performance in the qualifying exam and Personal Interview round conducted at the campus. Only the candidates who have secured minimum 50% aggregate marks or above in Bachelor’s in any stream are eligible to apply for the admissions.
For five-year integrated courses (BBA + LLB/ BA + LLB), candidate’s score in best five subjects in class 12th with be considered along with the score in ICFAI Law School Admissions Test (ILSAT). Candidates who have a valid score in any of the national level law entrance exam CLAT or LSAT are exempted from the university entrance test.

ICFAI University, Sikkim Application Process 2024
Applications for admissions to ICFAI University are available both online and offline. Candidates can follow the procedure given below for application submission.
For online applications:
- Visit ICFAI, Sikkim official portal.
- Select ‘Apply Online’ link under ‘Admissions’ tab at the home page.
- Click on Online Admissions Guidelines link at the redirected page.
- Select Online Registration tab.
- Fill personal details, academic records (graduation details if applicable) and family details (parents background and siblings).
- Upload a colored scanned copy of passport sized photograph.
- Check the declaration box and click on ‘Submit’ button.
- Proceed to pay the application fee through Credit cards/ Net Banking.
- Application fee for UG and PG courses is INR 300 whereas for Law courses is INR 500.
For Offline Applications:
- Hardcopies of application forms will be available at the admissions office of the university.
- Application form must be filled in capital letters.
