RAJUVAS Course Admission 2025: Dates, Fees, Eligibility, Application Process, Selection Criteria

The Rajasthan University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences offers B.V.Sc. & A.H. at UG level with total 360 seats. The course also consists of a six months internship and the total duration of full time course is 5 ½ years. 

Note- 15 seats in B.V.Sc. & A.H. are reserved for ICAR candidates. For general candidates, the minimum and maximum age for qualifying is 17 and 28 year, respectively. There is 5 years relaxation in age for boys (SC/ST/OBC/SBC), girls from general category and 10 years for girls belonging to SC/ST/OBC/SBC.

RAJUVAS Bikaner B.V.Sc. & A.H. Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates applying for B.V.Sc. & A.H., five years course should pass 10+2 with minimum 50 percent marks in aggregate with English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as the main subjects from a recognized board of education. 
• 40 percent marks for reserved candidates.

Selection Criteria

Admission to B.V.Sc. & A.H. is done on the basis of valid score in RPVT, Rajasthan Pre Veterinary Competitive Examination followed by Counselling. 

The Rajasthan University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences offer M.V.Sc. in 18 specializations with 118 seats.

Note- 14 seats in M.V.Sc. are reserved for ICAR candidates. The candidates who have qualified JRF of ICAR, foreign nationals sponsored by ICAR/GOI, ICAR nominee, field extension functionaries deputed by Government of Rajasthan and In-service candidates of the University (fulfilling the academic qualification) are exempted from taking the entrance exam for post graduate courses.

RAJUVAS Bikaner M.V.Sc. Eligibility Criteria

Candidates applying for M.V.Sc. should pass B.V.Sc. & A.H. degree with not less than 6.00 out of 10 or equivalent CGPA or 60 percent marks for general and 5.50 out of 10 OGPA for candidates belonging to reserved category.

Selection Criteria

Admission to M.V.Sc. is done on the basis of Pre PG Entrance Test organised by the university.

The Rajasthan University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences offer M.Sc. in Animal Biotechnology with 2 seats at postgraduate level.

Note- The candidates who have qualified JRF of ICAR, foreign nationals sponsored by ICAR/GOI, ICAR nominee, field extension functionaries deputed by Government of Rajasthan and In-service candidates of the University (fulfilling the academic qualification) are exempted from taking the entrance exam for post graduate courses.

Eligibility Criteria

B.Sc. degree (Biology/Microbiology/Biotechnology/Life Sciences) with 6.00 out of 10 OGPA and 5.50 out of 10 OGPA is for general and reserved category, respectively.

Selection Criteria

Admission to M.Sc. is done on the basis of Pre PG Entrance Test organised by the university.

The University offers a two year diploma course in Animal Husbandry.

Eligibility

The aspirant must pass 10+2 or qualifying exam with Science stream (optional subjects like Physics, chemistry, Biology) or Agriculture stream (with Biology as optional subject).

Selection Criteria

The admission to diploma program is done on the basis of marks scored in qualifying examination or 10+2 exams.

RAJUVAS Bikaner Ph.D. Eligibility Criteria

• M.V.Sc. degree with 6.50 out of 10 OGPA for general and 6.0 out of 10 OGPA for reserve category candidates. 
• For Animal Biotechnology candidates, it is compulsory to have M.Sc. in Veterinary Microbiology/ Veterinary Biochemistry/ Physiology and Biochemistry/ Animal Genetics and Breeding/ Obstetrics and Gynaecology/ Animal Nutrition or M.Sc./M.Tech. in Animal Biotechnology

RAJUVAS Bikaner Ph.D. Selection Criteria

The admission is through a Pre PhD Test conducted by university. Candidates who have qualified SRF of ICAR, ICAR nominee, foreign nationals sponsored by ICAR/GOI, and In-service candidates of the University (fulfilling the academic qualification) are exempted from taking the Pre PhD entrance exam conducted by University.
