Ans. Yes. The Bachelor of Pharmacy programme at MDSU’s Department of Pharmacy is approved by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI). Graduates of a PCI-approved programme are eligible to register with state pharmacy councils and practice as pharmacists in hospitals, retail pharmacies, and pharmaceutical manufacturing industries across India.
Ques. What career options are available after B.Pharm from MDSU?
Ans. B.Pharm graduates can work as pharmacists in hospitals, community pharmacy stores, and government health departments. Manufacturing and quality control roles in pharmaceutical companies, regulatory affairs positions, and medical representative roles in pharma sales are also common. Graduates who clear GPAT (Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test) can pursue M.Pharm or PharmD at NIPER and other institutions. Drug inspector and drug analyst positions in government services require a B.Pharm qualification.
