The placements in a college quite good because i would say like they were a lot of companies that was coming to our college like this.
Teacher at chitkara are best they help u in every aspect they help you in research and also in projects
The college also provides scholarships for scheduled castes and other backward classes even if you perform well in academics then you will definitely be awarded, which can be in any way.

Dislikes

No scholarships are provided in this university for any of the stream here..... which is not good they should provied us with some good scholarship according to percentage.
Fans , washrooms , windows , balcony , study table , beds , almirah food quality is very bad, health of students sometimes get deteriorated after eating their mess food through hostel site we did registration process and payments rajpura
5th semester im in 4th semester so dont know anything about placements from real experience but heard stuff so dont know if that works but till now everyone's just sad and scared if they'll get placements.

BEYONF THE CAMPUS: THE HONEST REALITY OF CHITKARA UNIVERSITY

the campus is beautiful and the infra is good and the hygeine is also good
the classes are well maintained and faculty is corporative and must visit campus
the vendors in the university are well and the food is also very tasty

Dislikes

the wardens are very bad in the nature so they need to improve
the food is very bad like made on the streets and they also change the menu in very bad in nature

Chitkara has one of thr most strogest placements records in the north of india and with the students eligibility from the campus recruitment from the 6th semester onwards. the highest pacage of 1.1 cr in amazon and the avgerage package of 10lpa with 2000+ recruiters visiting and students secure 70-80 percents of placements.

Honest Review Of Chitkara University

Industry aligned curriculum like in bcom with acca students got 9 paper exemption which accelerate our journey towards our global professional qualification
Campus infrastructure are really good and feels positive vibes between students and have various clubs like c2s2 and there is frequent dj nights, fests which give us an enjoyable moment.
Strong placement genrally in bcom they ties with big 4 companies to got placement for students which is really helpful for students to get better job with good salary.

Dislikes

Rules are very strict as 75% attendence is mandatory now they don't provide any duty leave and medical leave which is not good
Mess food for hostlers are poor quality food they use low quality butter,and even chapattis are very hard and dals are so poor in quality
Location as this college is far away from main cities like chandigarh and patiala as there is no cab facility available and there is no blinkit facilities available at this location and fees and fines are very high in terms of undisciplined

Square one is the most liked by students
Their education system is also good ……..
Main thing they take exam module wise so there is less pressure on students

We have to wear uniform that i dont like

My Best college life at chitkara

The infrastructure was a very important factor which I would like to appreciate
Campus Life even the hostel stay is very much fabulous
Infrastructure is very much awesome. Even infrastructure is based on the leanings .

Dislikes

Hostel food needs improvement as the food quality is not good.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum at chitkara University was very good. Like we can explore the foreign exchange program. University exchange programmes were there. Learning and exploring completely included in the curriculum. I think module system should be changed with semester exams. Level of difficulty war moderate in exams

5-6 semester students become eligible for campus placements. This thing not happening yet in University. Highest package i think 18 lpa and average 7-8 lpa of reputed and bigger companies. CGPA matters which 8-9 cgpa students getting placements

Likes

I liked the hospitality and the off campus placement
Sporting tournament organized i liked it
Friday non veg food was very tasty and the milk shake

Dislikes

I dislike Food as not good tasteless and chef was not good
Office staff was not talking politely and respectfully
College fees was too high and it has to be low

I got placed in amazon . Placement is quite good big companies come and hire Highest package 15lac And average 7lac in customer executive After degree I did mba from different college due to my relocation

Nice college and nice faculty.

Likes

I liked the campus infrastructure and campus life.
Great placement opportunities and highly valuable companies
Teachers are very helpful and supportive to each and every student.

Dislikes

High fees and other expenses in the college.
Class size is very high. So there is high level of crowd in the college.
Minimum no of scholarships available for General students.

Placement Experience:

students become eligible for campus placements in their last year of the course. Companies like Tata Steel, TCS and Amazon visit campus and make different no offers to each student. The highest package offered was 30 lpa offered by Amazon and the average package was 7 lpa profiles offered are of software engineer, software test engineer and digital marketing executive. Almost 90% of students got placement offers from different companies. My plan after studying is to do a job in any government sector.

Discipline, safety and security, proper education system. I opted B.com hons course from chitkara University because it was an deemed university and have a well educated and extraordinary teachers who understand each and every think of the student and help them. Dean of this department was also very good and always take feedback so that to improve the problem which student face.

Chitkara University popularly known as CU can be reviewed on a set of parameters. The parameters range from academics to infrastructure and focus most importantly on placements provided in the last educational year.

ACADEMICS

The university stands at a desirable position when it comes to academics. It caters to 13000 students. The student-faculty ratio is 1:6. Engineering is the best option as students not having an above-average JEE score can also land up at a good stream in the university. The university has reputed international collaborations with leading institutes across the globe. Some institutes are University Of Florida, U.S.A, Deakin University, Australia, etc.

PLACEMENTS

Placements have been quite good in recent year in all the domains of the university, but engineering has been the major attractive domain. The percentage-wise division of placements is mentioned below:

There have been around more than 500 recruiters with 50 international offers. The highest package stands around Rs.31 LPA whereas the average is about Rs. 6 LPA. A number of startups were also being encouraged.

There have been more than 150 offers, which cater to the range above Rs. 10 LPA. The major recruiters are Microsoft, Google, Oracle, Amazon, IBM, Quick Heal, Bank of America, etc. Mechanical and civil engineering students also got offers from top players like JCB, Renault-Nissan, DLF, Lafarge, etc.

FEES & ACCOMMODATION

Being a private university; CU charges a reasonable amount. The most preferred course B.E., a 4-year course stands around Rs. 7 lakh (accommodation included). The accommodation facilities are up to the mark with all proper resources.

CAMPUS LIFE & SCHOLARSHIP

There is no such scholarship provided by the university, but it offers scholarships to achievers that scored good positions in JEE mains. Campus life is great offering good opportunities to explore the state and its culture.
