The placements in a college quite good because i would say like they were a lot of companies that was coming to our college like this.
Teacher at chitkara are best they help u in every aspect they help you in research and also in projects
The college also provides scholarships for scheduled castes and other backward classes even if you perform well in academics then you will definitely be awarded, which can be in any way.

Dislikes

No scholarships are provided in this university for any of the stream here..... which is not good they should provied us with some good scholarship according to percentage.
Fans , washrooms , windows , balcony , study table , beds , almirah food quality is very bad, health of students sometimes get deteriorated after eating their mess food through hostel site we did registration process and payments rajpura
5th semester im in 4th semester so dont know anything about placements from real experience but heard stuff so dont know if that works but till now everyone's just sad and scared if they'll get placements.

Chitkara life

Likes

The discipline is what I liked there is perticular decorum that is to be maintained and guards to check it
The placement opportunities are very good
The competition is nice and very good to be there

Dislikes

The uniform it's like school and we have to wear it with jeans particularly blue and black
The teaching quality is not that great some teachers are very good but some just disappointed
The canteen area is good but sometimes the food is not good quality and mess food is also not that Great sometimes

Placement Experience:

the placements of my college is very good cause they bring out good companies for every course not just cse the internship oppurtunities are aslo very nice and they have tie ups with quite a lot companies so the placements are very good

Campus of our college is very beautiful and wide
There are many trees and grounds in our college
Cleaness is well maintained in our college

Dislikes

Doesn't not have shops or stores in college
Crowd of our college is mostly from other state didn't understand their language
Evening batch for hosteller is not good and we are not able to study at 9:00 pm

Placement Experience:

Placements of our college is very good many companies visit in our college for placement like Wipro,Adobe,tech Mahindra, Amazon, Flipkart,etc. last year a student from our college got placed in Amazon at package of 1.2 crore per annum

Good enviroment but bad accomodation

faculty expertise and teaching methods - The faculty at CIET are experienced and knowledgable who are well in their fields.they include the use of practical examples
Infrastructire and learning facilities - the classrooms are not very well maintained which is crucial for engineering stuudents , but the library are well stocked and equipped with digital resources
placement and career support - well connected with companies and industries that lead to average placement rates as they organise placement drives , mock interviews

Dislikes

teaching cosistency - while their are few faculty members that are excellent, there is some incosistency in teaching quality and some course could more benefit from more experienced teachers
while placements are overall good but opportunities in niche fields are limited. more focus in these areas could benefit students with specialized courses
while on-campus placments are generally good but still there are some issues with maintance and avilability during peak times and not very good comapanies come

for the placements for bca is not very good for getting placement u dont have to get backlog in any subject. not good companies are coming this year in the collgege. they give you 2 options that is on campus and off campus placement but due to not many good companies come in the placement many students in bca opt for offcampus placement in this year. and if any company come in college for bca mostly they are for sales position with less stipend

Likes

Faculty js good they know their subjects good
Campus is good with good infrastructure and good facilit
The food is good with good hostel and good services

Dislikes

Class size is little bigger than usual would have been better if was small
Everyone can get admission in college easily ,very easy criteria for admission

From 3rd semester it is easy to get internship the college placement is also good compred to colleges near by with similar fees bracket and college admission bracket which is very good for a college like this

My coplege according to me

Likes

The campus is well maintained and the sports opportunities are very good
The mentors and teachers are very good and understanding
The college itslef has many outlets for foodies

Dislikes

As in first year there are not many things to dislike

Placement Experience:

For now I have heard the college gives an average package of Rs 8,00,000 and this year highest package is of Rs35,00,000 which is a decent amount and this university ensures that each and every student can get a pacakge

An Average Chitkara Life

Likes

The college is full of activities which makes students enthusiastic and courageous.
The Chitkara has many opportunities for students to boost them and showcase there Talent
And The last but not the least thing I liked that Chitkara organizes thrilled and good events for students which is necessary and makes students to be happy and friendly with others

Dislikes

The placements is given less in comparison of others
The university should be of single course but Chitkara is full of courses and seems to be a big university like it should of particularly of designing or something else

Placement Experience:

From my knowledge I guess from 2nd semester the students are eligible for placements and there are multiple companies visited and made offers as well even in Chitkara on daily basis companies comes such as Aditya birla group and wipro and many more umm 825000 is highest in my knowledge and percentage of students getting placement would be 100 out of 60 most probably and plans after getting degree is to study further and doing masters from abroad

My Chitkara University Experience

Likes

Green caampus and the promotion of sustainability in our university .Even the rockfeller block in the university is a live example
The faculty at Chitkara University is highly experiences and approchable.Proffesors are often experts in their respective fields
There is a lot of opportunities for students to start their own startup and can get a funding ranging from 2.5 lac to 25 lac.

Dislikes

The boys girls ratio iss almost 65:35 in our university as asked
while the library is well equipped it could be expanded to digital resources making online access to students
The quality of food in hostel mess is not upto that level

Placement Experience:

Chitkara offers internship to every student ,companies apply a condition in that process students should have a cgpa more than 8 and there should be no reappear in any exam after fullfing these two conditions student can apply for the interview and it depends on students skill what package he/she is offered

Chitkara University popularly known as CU can be reviewed on a set of parameters. The parameters range from academics to infrastructure and focus most importantly on placements provided in the last educational year.

ACADEMICS

The university stands at a desirable position when it comes to academics. It caters to 13000 students. The student-faculty ratio is 1:6. Engineering is the best option as students not having an above-average JEE score can also land up at a good stream in the university. The university has reputed international collaborations with leading institutes across the globe. Some institutes are University Of Florida, U.S.A, Deakin University, Australia, etc.

PLACEMENTS

Placements have been quite good in recent year in all the domains of the university, but engineering has been the major attractive domain. The percentage-wise division of placements is mentioned below:

There have been around more than 500 recruiters with 50 international offers. The highest package stands around Rs.31 LPA whereas the average is about Rs. 6 LPA. A number of startups were also being encouraged.

There have been more than 150 offers, which cater to the range above Rs. 10 LPA. The major recruiters are Microsoft, Google, Oracle, Amazon, IBM, Quick Heal, Bank of America, etc. Mechanical and civil engineering students also got offers from top players like JCB, Renault-Nissan, DLF, Lafarge, etc.

FEES & ACCOMMODATION

Being a private university; CU charges a reasonable amount. The most preferred course B.E., a 4-year course stands around Rs. 7 lakh (accommodation included). The accommodation facilities are up to the mark with all proper resources.

CAMPUS LIFE & SCHOLARSHIP

There is no such scholarship provided by the university, but it offers scholarships to achievers that scored good positions in JEE mains. Campus life is great offering good opportunities to explore the state and its culture.
